Decisions and having made that decision

Would it be ok if I shared my lesson on Chapter 8 from Think and Grow Rich for this week’s Think and Grow Rich Lessons with You.
“If You are influenced by the opinions of others, you will have no desire of Your own” states Napoleon hill in this chapter. It’s a trait that learned growing up to listen to there’s and for many years I took their own beliefs as truth although often listening to their false opinions to make a decision. This formed few decisions which made personally.
When we come to mentoring for free we often have made few of our own choices, we have often listened to someone’s opinion or thoughts about the type of car we want to drive, what we do for work, the clothing we wear, how we dress even. We stop being ourselves in an attempt to fit in with the crowd.
It wasn’t until joined mentoring for free that realized that what was doing was listening to those opinions around me, those who had fears and allowed those opinions to stop from following own dreams or goals. Often it was owing to having been uncommitted to the decision and listening to a reality of a person who really had no experience in that field. One time having left network marketing listening to the advice of a business person who wanted me to work with them to help them build their business.
Since joining mentoring for free I have learnt the power of making those choices for myself, there have been many failed decisions made. Like friendships which have gone south owing to them being the wrong person to be around. At the time it was My choice for the friendship and was none the wiser to this destructive friendship which ended in theft. I was out there wanting to be liked rather than being myself, someone who felt comfortable being.
That’s been the story of own life, wanting to be liked and accepted for who I am and being unable to be that guy. It comes down to I am able to extend the hand of friendship and be the best Ben that I am able to be, that is my own choice. Just we are able to share the book success in 10 steps with those in our lives and our business that is our decision. It is however the other persons decision to look at or join our team.
It’s the same with out selftalk, we decide to do our self talk daily just as we choose to advertise or share the book success in 10 steps daily. We can ask those who the decision impacts their thoughts on the decision its essentially your own choice just like its Your own choice who You marry. Who you have sex with and Your own choice to stay in that relationship. We have all been affected by anothers choice in someway shape of form.
We can either live a life in hurt blaming ourselves for the decision of a family member or friend. Going poor me or we can make the choice it was their own choice and stop blaming ourselves for our father walking out saying they don’t want dependants anymore, that cousin who was asked to see if was awake for work who made their own choice and feel pregnant, their own choices. Is it worth sitting around for years in pain replaying those events or learning a lesson from those choices which may have seen impact a life.
We need to make a decision with relation to our own lives, it may be as simple as saying. I am tired of being on the pension and I am going to make this business work, I am going to do whatever it takes. I am going to be that stay at home parent, that foster parent who works from home and doing whatever it takes to achieve that goal.
That is My own choice I am going to be that stay at home parent for the kids, I am going to be a foster father and do whatever is needed to achieve that goal. I am going to be a success at being that stay at home parent, who is earning an income and providing for our family.
Thank You to  Linda and Michael Dlouhy for their ongoing guidance, love and support, giving me the ability to be able to realize that had the choice to either stay there poor me this is whats happened or to learn from that lesson and move on. Thanks to Ken Klemm who has also helped to learn the impact of those choices. Thank You to my amazing wife for her ongoing love and showing me that marrying Jenny was the best decision ever.
