FAITH
All of the success principles in this book are there for everyone, and will work
for anyone who lives by them. If they are not working for me, then I have
only myself to blame.
Each chapter in this book not only describes a principle, but tells us how to
apply and develop it.
So how do I develop FAITH?
Two things stood out to me this time as I read the chapter.
"FAITH is a state of mind which may be induced, or created, by affirmation
or repeated instructions to the subconscious mind, through the principle of
autosuggestion."
It really is as simple as that! If you don't believe Michael, just ask Tuula Rands...
Darlene Moore... Ken Klemm... David Paul... just to name a few!
The other thing that stood out is...
"A mind dominated by positive emotions, becomes a favourable abode for
the state of mind known as faith. A mind so dominated may, at eill, give the
subconscious mind instructions, which it will accept and act upon immediately."
"But soon or late the man who wins
Is the man WHO THINKS HE CAN!"
Self talk and staying in the eight positive emotions!!
The 30 Day Mental Cleanse is, as the name suggests, designed to be most
strict and pure during the first 30 days. A clean sweep of everything negative
that adds to the clutter, so that we can SEE clearly who we were meant to
be and HEAR how to become that person. But sometimes life gets in the way,
and clouds our vision and hearing again. Then we would be wise to go back
and do the 30 Day Mental Cleanse in the strictest sense, till we find that
clarity and peace once again.

Chapter 3 – Faith
Hill tells us "when faith is blended with the vibration
of thought, the subconscious mind instantly picks up the
vibration, translates it into its spiritual equivalent, and transmits
it to Infinite Intelligence, as in the case of prayer."
This made me think of Hebrews 11:1 Faith is the substance
of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Faith is a substance. The dictionary states that substance is the
basic elements from which can be developed the quality or
qualities that make a thing what it is.
So faith is a substance and a foundation and we can prove
things by it because faith is the evidence of things not seen.
We should not confuse faith with hoping, dreaming, or trying.
Faith is a very real thing and the evidence of it must be evidenced in
our lives. We have to have walking faith.
So what does this mean to us in building our businesses?
Do we walk by faith or do we walk by sight?
When we walk by faith we show our faith by doing our
daily tasks every day, we do our advertising consistently, we say
our self talk, we call our leads, we attend all the calls, we use
our own products and tell others about our products.
We do our daily activities because we know that is how the
foundation is built. By doing the activities we show our belief
and faith in our business success.
When we walk by sight we only do the things that we
see instant results from. We may say our self talk some days but
we are not consistent. We may call our leads once in a while.
We may attend some of the calls sometimes and once in a while
we may use our own products.
It reminds me of the saying “Seeing is Believing” or “when I see
it I’ll believe it."
If we don’t have the faith and belief in our business
success how are we going to ever see it if we don’t produce the
evidence of its existence.
Do we walk by faith or do we walk by sight?

Chapter 3-Faith
The last few days have been a testing of Faith.
You know sometimes things happen. They simply get messed up for no reason. Computers and computer programs are not always perfect. Sometime people fail us; sometimes technology.
Life is like that.
It’s a test of MY attitude and my Faith.
There was a situation that happened just tonight. I have invested a lot of heart and energy into my network marketing business during this past month, yet it looked like I wasn’t going to receive a paycheck because my autoship hadn’t processed.
It had been there in the bottom left of my Home Page all month…but for some reason, it had not been processed.
No one had an answer for this.
Perhaps it was a software malfunction. Or perhaps it was just a test of my Faith.
So after being told today that I was still able to receive a paycheck because of my monthly volume, I looked to see if my August earnings were listed.
I opened up the website. It took FOREVER for page to come up…because of our slow internet. (Sometimes I think I live on Mars, the connection is so slow!)
So I closed out the website and reopened it. Nothing. There were no earnings listed. It seemed I had worked an entire month for no commissions or bonuses.
“Are you kidding me?” were words that wrestled around in my mind.
But because I know that Faith is believing in that which is still unseen, I scrambled out of those alligator infested waters.
In a split moment, I changed my unspoken words to…
“This will make a great story when I’m a Diamond!”
I closed out the website again and clicked my way through the various screens. I realized I had been looking at September instead of August earnings.
There it was. The largest commission/bonus check I had ever earned in my many years of network marketing.
Self-Talk. Desire. Discipline. Faith.
All are necessary to change bad habits and destructive belief system; and to be transformed into a confident, wealthy woman who has changed her life and inspires the people around her.
One Step Closer…

Faith
Reflecting back on my journey, I have noticed changes.
Hill states "FAITH is the “eternal elixir” which gives life, power, and action to the impulse of thought!"
And he tells us that it's worth reading this statement many times over aloud.
And as this chapter directs us that auto-suggestion is key here as our auto-suggestion becomes the state of mind we need to be in to gain all that we want in life.
I've experienced pivitol moments in my life, where a complete trust in God was all I could do, and God has always pulled me through the most difficult circumstances.
So what has my journey been like so far since discovering MFF.
Personal growth and confidence is noticed and so are the vibrations of incredible wonderful energy I feel. The start of my self talk here and it coninues as my brain exercise. Easiest brain exercise to do is your self talk!
But I couldn't help wondering what's missing. Did I need to do a Plan, Do, Review and Adjust here if I am going to make money.
It just mades me wonder sometimes what is it that God wants from me. What does he want me to do?
Why are these moments of wondering how I'm going to do this business coming up? I know it's because of the parking situation in my area. Where I live, for me to do my business and have parties at my home, I need to have parking permits for my guests. Or they could get ticketed!
So I had been praying for a good answer to this situation. And adjusted my self talk to include this hurdle! Yes your self talk can adjust as I soon learned. What's important here is to say it!
I have certainly started to use my gut instincts on many things I do now, so when I get a chance to talk to someone I don't know and who lives in my area, I'm thrilled as it means I make new friendships!
So, my mom came home from church, her daily routine and slipped in my hand a piece of paper, saying, "Dianne wants you to call her."
I called Dianne to learn that my mother had mentioned to her what I am doing now and spoke about the products.
Thanks mom.
We spoke at length about many things, but the best part of this was getting invited to her home this Friday, so I could show her what I do! And this lovely lady, Dianne, knowing the parking situation in my area, offered to let me use her home for parties! She spoke about her interest in joining me in my business! I could tell right off ther bat, she is a blue personality like me.
I am so grateful for the answers I receive when I need them. And especially for this answer, I am so very thankful! Thank you Lord! Situation made ideal, solution and hurdle solved!
So what is the difference here between having Belief and having Faith?
Hands down, I'd say belief is your opinion, your beiefs that you form and live by, but your Faith takes it a step further. Faith is that elixer that puts all your plans in motion because you absolutely know without proof that you'll find the answer. Or let me rephrase this and say, We'll recieve the answer through prayer, through self talk and personal development as the best outcome in building a business. These are all inclusively needed for us to reach the top!
And Faith is absolutely a requirement! It is our faith in that whatever we are doing, we know with certainty that it will work and we can do it. It's our Faith that tells us, without the need to know how ahead of time what the outcome will be and we trust this process. We just have that connection on a spritual level from within our hearts and minds that Faith starts building upon us and etches into our souls like a burning fire. It's the magic and mystery of the unknown that when you see it, after it has happened, you know that Faith is at work because you have experienced it and now it's knowledge. You may not know who or when or what is at work here, but It's Faith at the very core that's at work. Believe it and trust the process! It's Faith!
Faith, keep it alive and you'll see your world in a completely different manner!

This month has been a roller coaster ride between faith and lack of faith for me. While I was busy allowing myself to blindly ride that roller coaster, the following quote from Ch. 3 in "Think and Grow Rich" helped me understand my error in thinking.
"Resolve to throw off the influences of any unfortunate environment, and
to build your own life to ORDER. Taking inventory of mental assets and
liabilities, you will discover that your greatest weakness is lack of
self-confidence. This handicap can be surmounted, and timidity translated
into courage, through the aid of the principle of autosuggestion. The
application of this principle may be made through a simple arrangement of
positive thought impulses stated in writing, memorized, and repeated, until
they become a part of the working equipment of the subconscious faculty
of your mind. " -Napoleon Hill
I can see how I allowed myself to feel a lack of self-confidence, and as soon as that "button" is pushed inside of me, I quite saying my self-talk and start internally defending myself. I replace that positive flow of emitions with excused like, "Well, you know that it IS a process…" How wonderfully green of me, yet not so wonderful when it comes to inducing the faith necessary to have success in life and business.
And, once again the answer to my lack of self-confidence and faith is self-talk; written, memorized, and repeated until those thought impulses become a part of the working equipment of my subconscious mind. So, I am guided right back to saying a well crafted self-talk 400 times per day.
The one thing I have not followed through with is saying my self-talk, the key to developing Faith, 400 times per day for 28 days straight. So, it is now time to make a decision and a conscious effort to feel the emotion of Faith most of the time. It is Now Time to step up to the plate and take personal responsibility for my success. This is how I show myself, my world and my God that I am All In.
