Truly thoughts are things and very powerful things states Napoleon when they are mixed with a burning desire, definiteness of purpose, with persistence we can translate such into whatever form of riches we so desire. The key is sitting right in front of us now, however the book is teaching us how to apply this key as well.
Personally riches is a family of own and abundant friendships, wife, biological kids, foster kids and adopted kids, along with sponsoring kids to and a volunteer uncle. Working own business around such, although family is my own personal rich it’s also a source of pain. Right now am learning those abilities to maintain a stable healthy relationship such as self acceptance, self responsibility, self esteem, self worth.
Having a family life very different from what grew up in has always been a goal personally, that has taken time, work and understanding, also a lot of learning to realise ok what does that family desire most look like and to be closer to being ready for such. We don’t receive our abundance until we are ready for it. It’s been about working to create the healthy relationship, not the destructive ones personally, creating that positive mindset and having the faith for such. It’s accepting responsibility for own actions and letting own family hurt me, starting to forgive them for the hurt.
Knowing that this desire for such a family has grown over many years and many people have tried to squash the goal or say why do that, why that many kids leave it fait and chance, when you leave something to fait it doesn’t work. You have to design your own life as Barnes demonstrates he did in this chapter through his own thoughts.
You see hiding behind that intense pain was an intense love for the family have, the hard part is accepting they are incapable of providing the love which am looking for and that’s ok. Anyway despite many rejections and being told you are not going to do such, knowing that will achieve the goal of having my own family with biological kids, foster kids, adopted kids and sponsoring kids whist being a volunteer uncle.
Am not aware when such will happen, however do know that will be a father. Having said to myself am going to be that father no matter how long or what have to do. No one is going to stop its attainment. Its about finding those people who believe that can achieve that goal and are willing to assist me with such. Working as a team and loving people, letting the love flow and being who am. Although in the past have had people take the micky out of me for being as loving as am and liking a number of women.
It has been through own personal determination and persistence that have kept me going and not said this is too much will take anything and quitting fully. Know what want and am going to get it no matter what and no one is going to stop such. Who is with me????, working towards that which is their own greatest desire. Yes have had many defeats and many nos, many people not understanding who am. Yet that only says am not giving up on the goal of a family, friends and a business around such.
