Chapter 11 The Mystery of Sex Transmutation
We are told in this chapter the emotion of sex brings into being
a state of mind which must be changed from thoughts of physical
expression to thoughts of some other nature.
Hill gives us the example of a salesman who has acquired
the art of sex transmutation when the salesman knows how to take his mind
off the subject of sex, and direct it in sales effort with as much enthusiasm
and determination as he would apply to its original purpose.
This process takes being in control of our mind and as we learned
previously in Chapter 1 “thoughts are things” and we can create in ourselves the
habit of dominating our thoughts into whatever area of our lives we
want transformed.
Love is life’s greatest experience.  When mixed with romance and sex
Love can develop us to a greater person and give us the desire and reason
for accomplishing more than we ever thought possible.
When we love what we do and by controlling our thoughts we can  take the
power of  romance and sex and transfer that energy into our Network Marketing business.
Make it a love relationship and our business will be transformed into
something far greater than we ever imagined before.

CHAPTER 11:  Transmutation
"Sex transmutation is simple and easily explained. It means the switching of
the mind from thoughts of physical expression, to thoughts of some other
nature."  ~ a quote from Napoleon Hill
November is National Novel Writing Month, affectionately known to participants
as NaNoWriMo. A wonderful, crazy time of literary abandon, when some of my
children and I work our fingers off writing at least 50000 words of fiction. A
time of driving to the city for as many of the Edmonton Wrimos events as we
can.
The wrap up party is the first Saturday night in December. Three years ago,
Dec. 5, 2009, was memorable in ways we didn't even know when it was
happening.
Two families... three vehicles... and we were off to the city. It didn't matter
who went in which vehicle, since we were all friends... parents and children.
Several members of each family had participated in NaNoWriMo. Some had
reached the 50000 word goal. Others had not. Some hadn't even participated
at all. But all of us headed for the city in the early afternoon, planning on
making a day of it.
We all went to a restaurant for lunch, and pulled several tables together to
make one long one. A dozen of us made for a noisy party of people cutting
up and having a great time. We had various stops to make before our evening
party.
Our son James didn't come to the NaNoWriMo party. He took the two little
boys to McDonalds, then shopping, and then took them home.
It was a wonderful day spent with friends, doing what we all enjoyed doing.
It was also the last time our friends saw James, because it was one week
later that he was taken from us in a highway accident.
November is still National Novel Writing Month, and my family still participates.
But I'll never forget the shock I experienced the following year, when we
geared up for NaNoWriMo and attended the events. During some panicky
moments I wondered if I could separate the triggers from the events.
So how did I do it? And how do I do it every year when this season rolls
around? The answer is in this chapter.
Mr. Hill puts the desire for sex expression at the top of the list of ten mind
stimuli. He doesn't even list the agony grief at all, so I'm not sure where it
would fit. But in my experience, it has been a tremendous exercise in switching
from negative to positive. James used to catch me up when I spoke of my
inadequacies, and when I started to get too negative he would push me
toward action. I could have let his death mark the end of my November writing,
because of the painful memories. Instead I think of how James would have
been proud to see me continue with it and move toward my goal of being a
many-times published author in the future. In the past I have locked up my
passion for writing, burying it under the burdens of life with a growing family
of small children. It didn't work. It was not emotionally healthy. 
Michael often tells us how he goes to his perfect moment, or his perfect day,
when things around him turn negative. It doesn't matter what the circumstance
is. What matters is that we do what Michael does. Go to your perfect day.
Never let the present circumstances spoil your day, even when it seems to be
intricately interwoven with something sad or bad. Today is today, not yesterday
or last week or a year ago or three years ago. Don't let the past keep you from
pursuing your dreams. Don't die with your music in you.

P.S. I'm sure I will be reminded of this in another way in the next few weeks.
My girls, Raewyn and Vicki, are returning to Japan for a two-and-a-half week
vacation. This time they are taking my youngest, Nathaniel, with them. Nathaniel
is 13, but he is still my baby. If he weren't going with his dependable and
trustworthy big sisters, I would be a quivering mass of nerves right now. But
he is in capable hands, and when I start to worry, I switch to thoughts of
what a wonderfully exciting and enlightening experience this will be for Nathaniel...
a memory he will treasure for the rest of his life. I will also treasure in my heart
my wonderful girls, who are 24 and almost 26, and have been scrimping and saving
for a whole year so they could pay the way for their 13-year-old brother to go to
Japan with them. It's not every mother who can say that of their grown single
daughters. I feel truly blessed.

THE MYSTERY OF SEX TRANSMUTATION
The Tenth Step toward Riches
When transmuting (which is changing or transferring), the emotion of sex to another element or form of energy, a Powerful, Priceless tool is formed.  This is a tool or weapon fashioned that can overcome obstacles and propel me into action to accomplish my Heart’s Desire!  It is capable of lifting me to a higher level of thought, enabling me to master the sources of worry and petty annoyance that can usually affect me.  It keeps me focused on positive thoughts and emotions because I am using the 3 chord, strongest bond of Love, Sex and Romance! 
Faulty programming from the past has made this a difficult lesson to learn.  Sex is and was a dirty word to many, because it was taken out of the area where it was created for…marriage.  Sex is God ordained!  He created it as a beautiful and wondrous gift for mankind!  The emotion of sex is an irresistible force and when driven by this emotion, men (and I dare say, women) become gifted with a super power for action.
Don’t stifle or quench your sixth sense, which is Creative Imagination at work.  This has been a lesson I have learned.  I am developing through use, my sixth sense, I am learning to stop, be in the present moment and LISTEN to it, I have trust and faith that it is Accurate.  When I realized that this too is a gift from God, that I am actually accessing a direct link with God when exercising my creative imagination, my sixth sense, I felt the power and the peace which it brings to me.
I watch my husband and how he works at his job.  He’s a great salesman, in fact he is rated #2 across Canada with Staples.  I take pride in that now, even more as I realize that his love for me and our relationship has been a major factor in his success.  He also preaches for our little congregation and he shines there too.  We still hold hands and will even occasionally kiss in public, after 39 years of marriage.  Love like this transcends time and space it is part of our souls and that is so powerful!
I was impressed with the take on personal magnetism, which is in itself, sex energy.  I related it to my husband as well as to myself.  In my Network Marketing company one of the things we are encouraged to do is to meet people face to face and give them a card with information about our main product.  I did something a little different the last time I went out to hand out cards, I applied these 5 steps:  1.  The hand shake (firm and pleasant), 2.  The tone of voice, which is a Very Important one (I applied enthusiasm), 3.  The vibrations of thought (don’t go out with a bad mood…I said my self-talk until I was mentally sending out good vibrations) and 5.  Body adornment (this one was a push, I like to be comfortable, I dressed up aiming for a pleasant and professional look).  Wow, what a difference this made, I felt good, instead of intimidated, I was positive, friendly and confident.  Whether it results in anything or not, it did make me feel better about myself, what I was doing and what I was offering, hence I would call it successful!
I lost both of my parents in the past 3 years.  My memories of them still sustain and lift me up.  I only remember and focus on the good times, the wonderful feeling of love they had for the Lord, for each other, for their children and for all of their surrogate children and people they helped over the years.  My parents were the epitome of hospitality.  They didn’t have much but besides their six children they cared for many and shared with many others.  They had Big Hearts and Big Love.  People always remembered how Mom and Dad made them feel.  Loved and wanted.
Memories of love never pass.  They linger, guide and influence you long after the source is gone.
Love is without question, Life’s Greatest Experience.  It brings one into communion with God.  The emotions of love, sex and romance are sides of the eternal triangle of achievement-building genius.  Nature creates genii through no other force!!!

p.s.  Michael taught me that Romance is about caring for and nuturing a special relationship, like he did with his son.  It is not just something done between a man and his sweetheart.  I never understood the title to that movie, Romancing the Stone, until Michael explained this.

The Mystery of Sex Transmutation
I've come more to understand this chapter now since coming back from New York as I know this is what I experienced.
One way to explain sex transmutation is to transfer your sex energy into a state of mind that is an emotional high.  I can compare it to two people in love and the romance they begin on their journey of discovering.  We have all heard or read about great romances and the extremes these people take to reach their lovers.  No mountains, no rivers, no oceans will keep these people apart.  They will find a way to be together and/or at least profess their love for each other.  It's the loving romantic stirring of the soul at work.
It's also that feeling I get when I say my self talk.  It arouses in me my burning desire to take the action I need to fulfill my desire, that slight edge I take everyday.
It's passionate and vibrant energy that oozes when I think about the things and people I love.  It's what makes my world look and feel magical. Literally, you are romancing the world when you feel this energy.  And I must admit, I love my business and network marketing, so it is a business, you might say, that also brings out the romance in my world also, when I take all my heightened energy and focus it into my business and people.
You feel it and people are receptive to this unstoppable energy because you are vibrating at this highest emotional level.
I went to New York for the week on a business trip last week to help someone who asked for my help as driving is a restriction for him. So I agreed to be the driver. I went there with the determination of a super star. 
I felt exuberant and alive, so full of passionate energy that the universe completely opened up.  There wasn't a moment when it said NO.  It was Yes the whole time we did business.
We had an organized plan to start with, but it seemed that creative imagination also took over, and we did deviate a bit allowing it to lead us.  And lead us it did.  It was like taking a magical journey attracting the right people at the right time and who were so open to receiving.
I mean it's not everyday that the business owner will be available to speak with when you walk in the door, especially on a weekend.  But every single business we walked into, we got to speak with the owner.
How could we tell we were vibrating at this emotional level? First, we felt it and we could tell by the warm reception we received.  And when you have business owners asking you to come sit at this table and take time out of their schedule to speak with us, I'd say that our energy was attracting.
Yes, I am beginning to understand the mystery of sex transmutation, the power surrounding it.
And I am positive that we attracted this energy and others were attracted to this energy. Did we vibrate at this high frequency of energy?  Absolutely - we were this energy that people were attracted to. 
And I also amazed myself with speaking and LISTENING.  I listened so intently, something I learned to do here at MFF.
That week, we literally breathed life into our business venture and we enjoyed it so much that we couldn't stop thinking or talking about it.
Sexual transmutation- you can take this energy of sexual expression into every aspect of your life and transmute it by channeling its energy into a form of creativity.  Thus a genius is born.  The experience is extraordinary and so uplifting.
I owe so much thanks for our successful weekend to MFF and our mastermind group.  There is no doubt in my mind that all this happened because of the superb mentoring and training I receive.  The courage, the self confidence, and teamwork I experienced on this trip are second to none and it is all because of my personal development and growth here at MFF.

After much study and contemplation over the subject of Sex Transmutation,
I have come to believe there is no greater path to genius than through
voluntary self-effort!  Having said that let me qualify it by saying, it’s because
I now understand how anybody can attain great heights of success in their
financial and business endeavors by incorporating sex energy, through what
Hill calls sex transmutation.  However history is polluted with case after case
where one’s character derailed their ability to maintain control of and to enjoy
the fruits of their labor, because of a self-centered urge for physical pleasure.
By eliciting the emotion of love one can balance character to promote the
artistic and the aesthetic nature of the human species, therefore leaving
its lasting impression on the souls of man, long after the flame has been
extinguished through time and circumstances.  Love is, without question
the greatest emotional experience in life.  It brings one into alignment with
the trinity of infinite intelligence.  Love when mixed with the emotions of
romance and sex, can lead one far up the ladder of creative genius. 
The concept of Mentoring for Free was brought about through sex transmutation
coupled with the emotions of love and romance.  Through voluntary self-effort
Michael and Linda Dlouhy annualized their past, present and future experiences
to ascertain their WHY, and then united that WHY with the love they have
for people.  The outcome was the greatest personal development system the
world of Network Marketing has ever known.  The real beauty of the system
is you don’t have to be a Network Marketer to benefit from it, because anybody can
plug in to learn and develop.  Once you figure out your why this system will assist
you in achieving it. When a person is able to transmute their desire for
achievement into the equivalent of pursuing the urge to satisfy a sexual desire
nothing can stop them.  People fail because of a weak WHY!
