Bad Blood In Big Companies

From Michael Dlouhy’s success in 10 steps, on one of many reasons people fail in network marketing which is Greed and Ego and even fear is what keeps people from progressing forward.

“They failed for the same reason. Most of the companies or large organizations I've seen crash & burn, it happened because of greed & ego.

Greed & ego.

Other companies did it right. They had good sponsoring systems in place, and they sold their promotional material at a reasonable price. Success leaves footprints in the sand that you can follow. If you can’t follow the footprints, you must be on the wrong beach.”

From Success in 10 Steps by Michael Dlouhy, you are unable to have any success when you have greed or ego around. Yet fear is another big thing which is holding alot of people back also. These must all be conqured so that you can have success in your own life.

Crucial Home Business Secret Revealed On Leadership

From Lawrence Bergfeld’s blog a wonderful post from Lawrence Bergfeld on leadership in network marketing.

Home Business Secret Revealed On Leadership:
A crucial home business secret revealed on leadership is that you have to be the person who sets the tone for your organization because people will do what you do not what you say. If you start micromanaging your team then they will do the same thing which will result in your organization stalling instead of duplicating.
What a person needs to be doing in this business is teaching what they have learned from the top leaders in their company and in this industry to their downline. It must be really simple. Jordan Adler said that if an eight year old can teach it to others then it duplicates, here is the reason why. It is in no way to insult the intelligence of the adults. But because they have so busy lives and if they can not get started immediately then they will not get started at all.
Here is how you develop leaders in this business. First of all you can not want it more for them then they want to have it for themselves or else they will do nothing. You will want to just be a professional pointer. Say something like this “This may or may not be for you, but this book has changed thousands of peoples lives!” or “Take a look at this audio and be sure to pay attention to the 2 year story, I was flabbergasted when I first heard it”. Let the tools do all the talking for you because at the beginning of your new distributors career he wants to earn a check and you want him to experience immediate success. You want him to say to himself that he could do what you just did and you want to avoid making it complicated or else he will not want to teach it to anyone who he knows. Most people have over 250 personal contacts. They want to share it right with them. Why complicate this and ruin a goldmine?
Your long term goal is to have a check comming in the mail to while you are on vacation and while you are sleeping. That is not about sponsoring 100 people on your team. Its about sponsoring five people whom you want to go on a one month cruise with. When you can teach them what you have learned and they can teach their five key leaders what they have learned from you. Then that is true duplication and imagining that one person has 1000 contacts. That is true momentum.
Avoid letting this crucial home business secret revealed on leadership pass you by or else this tip will go to other people instead of you!

Simple Communications by Zig Ziglar

The following is as appeared in Jim Rohns newsletter a wonderful article from Zig Ziglar. Thank you Zig.

Editor’s Note: Jim Rohn’s dear friend, personal development legend Zig Ziglar, joined him in heaven last Wednesday, November 28, 2012. Like Jim, Zig Ziglar touched millions of lives with his words of wisdom. Since Zig was known as a master communicator and sales guru, here is a classic Ziglar article that we’d like to share with you in his honor.

Simple Communications
by Zig Ziglar

When I entered the sales world, one of the first things my manager taught me was to keep my presentation so clear and uncluttered that a child could understand what I was saying. This advice has had a lasting impact on my life. I frequently remind my audiences that I speak and write at the seventh grade, ninth month level. I do this because I've discovered that at that level virtually everyone can clearly understand the message--even college professors! I include college professors because they're real people, and they, too, deserve to understand.

As my friend, Dr. Steve Franklin, a college professor from Emory University who taught me this, said, "The great truths in life are the simple ones. You do not need three moving parts and four syllables for it to be significant." He then pointed out that "there are only three pure colors--but look what Michelangelo did with them. There are only seven notes, but look at what Chopin, Beethoven and Vivaldi did with them. For that matter, look at what Elvis did with two!"

Most of us prefer things we can understand. Lincoln's Gettysburg Address is short and clear with nearly 80 percent of the words only one syllable. "God is love"--three words, all of them one syllable.
Seriously, now, when you ask someone what they had for breakfast, would you really appreciate it if they responded that they had the "upper part of a hog's hind leg, with two oval bodies encased in a shell laid by a female bird?" Or would you prefer to have the person answer, "We had ham and eggs for breakfast"?

And remember, language changes. At one time we referred to a person who spread rumors around the office as a "gossip." Now that person is called an "information specialist." Personally, I prefer simple, clear, direct communications. I'm convinced that most people do. Keep your communications "simple," and I'll SEE YOU AT THE TOP!

From Jim Rohn’s newsletter a wonderful article from Zig on cummunication.
