The Duplication Myth.
I have an opinion on duplication ... it makes people mad ... especially those who teach duplication. You don't have to agree with this opinion, but here goes.
Why duplication doesn't work.
* Mary has a million-dollar smile. Whenever she smiles, people want to talk to her, and she gets a chance to share her business. But not everyone in Mary's downline has this amazing smile. So should I tell Mary not to smile since her amazing smile can't be duplicated by everyone in her downline?
* Joe hands out audio CDs, and then puts the prospect on a three-way call with his upline. But, some of Joe's downline are hearing-impaired, and so are their prospects. So should I tell Joe not to use this method since it can't be duplicated by everyone in his downline?
* Let's say my sponsor is Alice. Her natural market is recruiting at the women's Rotary Club. Can I duplicate that? No. I'd need a sex change operation. Should Alice not use her natural market? Of course she should. That's her strength.
* Ella is a doctor. She loves to share her company's products with her patients. So should I tell Ella not to share her products with her patients since it can't be duplicated by everyone in her downline?
* John has an unusually large extended family and plenty of local relatives. So should I tell John not to share his opportunity with his relatives since not everyone in his downline is fortunate enough to have as many relatives?
* My friend Charles sells mailing lists. He has 10,000 customers who trust him. What if I sponsor Charles and say this, "Charles, don't go to your natural market. It's not duplicable. No one else has 10,000 good customers. Instead, use my system of sitting with your neighbor with a flip chart." Charles would laugh in my face.
* Bill makes a driving mistake and hits another car. The owner suffers a neck injury, but Bill generously gives him some magic vitamins. The other driver recovers and becomes Bill's best leader. Because this is how Bill found his best leader, Bill insists his downline duplicate his methods. Insane.
I hate the telephone, but I have loads of people who use it exclusively. I have people who use ads, use social media, leads services, party plans, breakfast clubs, referrals and many, many other ways to meet their prospects ... and they all work!
==> Usually duplication advocates have another agenda such as selling you their duplication materials.
My philosophy is this:
   "Duplicate the results, not the activity."
Give people the freedom to choose the most pleasant activity for them that gets the job done. For some people, it is talking over a cup of coffee. Others enjoy talking on the telephone.
Now, if their way isn't getting the job done, they have a choice.
1. Learn the skills to make their preferred method work, or
2. Choose a different way to build the business.
We want to duplicate results (sponsoring and building leaders).
We don't need to duplicate unique activities to get these results.

The Fifth Step towards riches

This chapter struck home reminding me about anything you can conceive with your own brain will come to true. When you put behind it a burning desire for it’s achievement mixed along with faith and positively reinforce such.

Recently having experienced such with own recent trip to New Zealand to meet jenny’s friends and family. Knowing that it would be a good trip and a interesting trip also, now its onto proceeding with what really want to do with own life and own passion which has sat deep inside for many years. Which was what was doing everything for as a person.

For many years I have wanted own kids and to be a parent, to give own kids a environment which I didn’t get as a child. A world of encouragement, support and belief, anyway its time to create that world and plan it even better. It started with working on myself and chipping away at the rough edges and now that dream is starting to take place. I would gladly stay at home and take care of the kids, something that was to do.

However until now I wasn’t ready for such.

How to win when talking to people.

The following is from Michael Dlouhy’s success in 10 steps, a wonderful section on relating to people. That you can relate to them by being more concerned about what the
prospect is wanting rather than yourself. Also you need to both be compatible that you are speaking the same language and believe you can win. Start building the relationship
from the start and be present in that moment.

When you have an identical point of view as the person you are speaking to then it helps to start build the relationship with someone as a person. However when you do not
then your relationship will ultimately start to suffer. Say you have someone who is very family orientated and someone who is not family orientated its very hard to get along
as they are speaking two different languages.

One person wants a family of their own and another person doesn’t want any family at all. They are two different people they want two different things, say bother people
enjoy the same hobby of model trains. However it is hard for one person to get a word in about such, the relationship will suffer when you are unable to find any form of
common ground with someone at all. When you have a prospect they expect to be the centre of your own attention and to have your focus. It is very hard for some people
yet it can be learned to do such.

The Human Winning Machine

If YOU were your prospect, what would YOU want?

I know what I’d want.

1. When you talked with me, I’d want you to LISTEN first and foremost, to find out what I really want. I’d need to feel you and I were simpatico.

This is where you must kick butt. Start your relationship-building immediately. TELL me what you’re doing and WHY you’re doing it, and let me know that part of your system is to help me build those key relationships.

I want to believe you consider MY success crucial to your life.

Michael Jordan was the greatest basketball player ever. A big part of that was, he just plain WANTED to win more than the other guys.

You ever watch Jordan the last few minutes of a close game – ANY close game? He CHANGED!! He’d psyche himself into a zone where he could

virtually do no wrong. He had total disdain for whomever he was play- ing.

He didn’t just want to beat them. He wanted to EMBARRASS them!

He’d focus on his skills and become a human winning machine.

YOU need the same focus when you talk to your prospect. The ONLY thing that matters is what your prospect thinks, wants, wishes for, desires and needs.

If I’m your prospect, YOUR entire universe better revolve around me when we talk. What YOU want doesn’t even exist, as far as I’m concerned. And it should- n’t exist for you, either … not when you’re talking to me.

THEN you and I will have an identical viewpoint!

2. I would want you to make a very clear, short, compelling case – based on what I’ve told you – as to why YOUR opportunity is better for me than all the competition.

I’d expect you to be able to answer every marketing question I have.

Don’t tap dance around what you don’t know. Know your company resources well enough to get me to the exact right source (hotlines, web pages, brochures, etc.) to answer any questions you can’t answer.

3. I would want a simple marketing system that’s inviting, informative, non-threatening, educational, & fun.

The more complex it is, the less chance I’ll be able to execute. You are in a cut- throat contest for my time and attention. One of your key weapons in this battle is simplicity. Making the complex clear is hard work. Few people do it well.

If you can give me all the information I need, clear & organized so I can make a quick choice, your chances skyrocket.
