The Mental Pivot: Leading Your Business Through the “Red Zone”

The Mental Pivot: Leading Your Business Through the “Red Zone”

One of the hardest lessons I’ve learned as a disabled entrepreneur is that “hustle” is a lie if it doesn’t include a plan for recovery. 🛑

In my business, I categorize my days by energy levels. Today is what I call a **Red Zone** day. My physical tank is empty, and my body is demanding rest. In the past, this would have felt like a total halt in progress. Now, it’s simply a prompt to change my strategy.

Success isn’t measured by how many hours you stand; it’s measured by the systems you build to keep the train moving when you need to sit down. 🚂✨

### What is the Mental Pivot?

When I hit a Red Zone day, I shift from **execution** to **monitoring**. I stop trying to out-hustle my symptoms and I lean into:

* **The Philosophy:** Revisiting the teachings of mentors like Jim Rohn and Bob Proctor to keep my mindset sharp.

* **The Systems:** Letting my automated CRM (the “Digital Recliner”) handle the follow-ups and data management.

* **The Pacing:** Accepting that tea and rest are just as vital to my legacy as a sales call.

I build this way because I’m building for more than just a paycheck. I’m building for Jenny and Jamie. I want to model a version of success that includes resilience, not just exhaustion.

**Today’s Question:** How do you handle it when your plans meet a physical wall? Do you have a “Pivot” plan, or are you still trying to grind through the Red Zone?

**Let’s talk about building sustainable systems in the comments below. 👇**
