๐ Breakfast in Bed vs. ๐ฝ๏ธ Dinner at the Table?
I’m just curious… what’s your pick? ๐ค
As a dadpreneur who is building a business while living with disabilities and chronic conditions, my answer has to be: “It depends.”
Some days, a “breakfast in bed” isn’t just a luxuryโit’s a necessity. Itโs a quiet moment of connection with my partner before the day’s fatigue or pain fully kicks in. Itโs about adapting and finding that intimacy right where we are. ๐
Other days, just making it to the dinner table feels like a massive VICTORY. ๐ Itโs a chance to sit upright, share a meal properly, and intentionally disconnect from our businesses to reconnect as a couple and a family.
When you’re an entrepreneurโand especially when you’re managing your healthโevery single moment of connection is precious. You learn that itโs less about where you eat and more about why you’re together.
Itโs about being intentional. It’s about supporting each other’s dreams and needs.
Building a business is hard. Building a strong relationship through life’s challenges is even more important.
So, I want to know! How do you and your partner build connection, especially on the tough days? Are you team “Breakfast in Bed” or “Dinner at the Table”?
Drop your choice and tell me why in the comments! ๐
