In our modern, high-production world, the constant message is to push, grind, and out-work every obstacle. But true, sustainable performance isn’t about running until your engine blows up. It’s about pacing.
Throughout my 20-year health journey—navigating a 19-year weight bounce and functional fatigue before my ultimate cellular health breakthrough—the absolute hardest skill I had to learn was knowing when to back off. Learning to implement a “Pacing Protocol” is what kept me moving forward, eventually allowing me to swim 48 laps in 50 minutes.
Today, I want to take a pulse on how you manage your own physical and mental energy limits.
