A 'Better' Year Doesn't Have to Mean a 'Harder' Year.
As we head into the final quarter of 2025, you see it everywhere: the push for a strong finish and big plans for the new year. It got me thinking, and I have a question for you:
"What are you going to do next year so it will be better than this year?"
As an entrepreneur who manages a chronic condition, my answer to this has fundamentally changed. A few years ago, "better" meant more hustle, bigger numbers, and pushing harder. Now, I see things differently.
For me, making 2026 "better" isn't about forcing more from a body that already works so hard. It's about working smarter, with more grace and intention.
My plan for a "better" year looks like this:
* Better energy management, not just better time management. I'll schedule rest as seriously as I schedule meetings.
* More intentional action, not just massive action. Focusing on the 2-3 things that truly move the needle.
* Deeper connections, not just a bigger network. Nurturing the relationships that fuel my soul and my business.
* Building systems that support my well-being, recognizing that my health is the most valuable asset I have.
This mindset isn't a limitation; it's a superpower. It forces you to be strategic, to cut out the noise, and to build a life and business that are truly sustainable. This is true for everyone, whether you have a health condition or not. Burnout doesn't discriminate.
So, let's redefine "better" together. Let's move beyond the idea that we have to sacrifice our well-being for our goals.
I'll ask you again: What is one thing you will do to make 2026 genuinely better for you, your family, or your business? I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments. 👇
