Do your prospecting phone conversations sound like this?

Do your prospecting phone conversations sound like this?
Prospect: How much money can I make with your opportunity?
You: How much money do you want to earn?
Prospect: I want to earn $10,000 a month.
You: Have you ever earned $10,000 a month before?
Prospect: No.
You: Do you know what it takes to earn $10,000 a month?
Prospect: No.
You: What are you willing to do to earn $10,000 a month?
Prospect: Well, I don't want to have to make phone calls, and I can't go to opportunity meetings because I work nights, and I can't afford to advertise. Plus, I don't know anybody. I won't go out and meet strangers. My relatives won't talk to me. And if I can't earn at least $10,000 a month with your opportunity, well ... then you just don't have a good plan or company!
******************************
Frustrating, isn't it? Some prospects want big money and are not willing to do what is necessary to earn it.
Of course, if your opportunity did offer $10,000 a month for no work, the same prospect would probably say, "It sounds too good to be true."
What is my strategy when I come across prospects like this?
I ask for referrals.
It is possible, but too hard and time-consuming to teach these prospects new attitudes and beliefs. It is much easier if they just refer you to someone who is willing to work.
So don't waste your time in frustration, trying to convince unqualified prospects. Simply ask them to send you to someone willing to work.

Getting people to open your email is hard.

Thanks for another great tip Tom "Big Al" Schreiter

Getting people to open your email is

hard.

If you are using autoresponder messages, here is an awesome tip I learned a few years ago.

People scan their email to see if the

email is from someone they know.

You can "brand" your autoresponder

message by have a special "pre" subject line message. Your readers will see your familiar "pre" subject line message, know it is from you, and if they like you and your content, they'll look forward to reading the email.

Here are some examples of "pre" subject

lines:

"Big Al": Rest of the subject line goes here.

"Fat Busters": Rest of the subject line goes here.

"No more jobs": Rest of the subject line goes here.

"Fire your boss": Rest of the subject

line goes here.

"Live until you are 99": Rest of the

subject line goes here.

"What idiots don't know": Rest of the

subject line goes here.

So, if your autoresponder series is all about a magic skin care cream, every subject line of your autoresponder series would start with the same "pre"

message so people would instantly

realize it is from you.

"Destroy wrinkles": Lesson #1 on younger looking skin.

"Destroy wrinkles": Lesson #2 on

shrinking age spots.

"Destroy wrinkles": Lesson #3 - How to

look good in the morning.

Etc.

Whenever your prospect sees:

"Destroy wrinkles" in the subject line

of the email, your prospect knows not to delete this email from you because you are familiar.

We can get twice as much business from

our current prospects if we learn to do the right things.

Hope you enjoyed this tip.
