Beyond "Not Sick": My Journey to True Health (Living with Chronic Illness)
"Health is not simply the absence of sickness."
This quote hits differently when you live with a disability or chronic condition. For years, I might have defined "health" as just a good day with fewer symptoms, or the absence of a major flare-up. But true health, as I've come to understand it, is so much richer, deeper, and more empowering.
For entrepreneurs, network marketers, parents, and health-conscious individuals – especially those of us navigating chronic conditions – this reframing is crucial for transforming our lives:
* It's about thriving, not just surviving: Even with persistent symptoms, I've learned to cultivate moments of joy, purpose, and vibrant energy.
* It's about resilience: Building mental and emotional strength to adapt, cope, and find solutions, even when physical challenges persist.
* It's about holistic well-being: Focusing on nourishing my body, mind, and spirit – through mindful eating, gentle movement, supportive communities, and powerful mindset work.
* It's about living fully: Actively pursuing my passions, building my business (as an MLM/direct sales rep), and being present for my family, regardless of external circumstances.
This redefined view of health allows me to take ownership of my well-being in a way that the absence of sickness alone never could. It's about empowering myself to live a rich, meaningful life, on my terms, every single day.
