Insight of the day quote

A very powerful quote from Craig on failure. That you need to stop letting fear get in your own way.

"Never forget that failure isn't bad. Failure isn't final. Don't let the fear of failure stop you from achieving the success you deserve. If you're struggling, keep hustling. Keep taking at least one big action step each day."

Make your business fun

A very powerful section from Michael Dlouhy’s success in 10 steps, as Michael says it has to be fun to be able to do something for him. You have to enjoy doing it or you will not
stick with something. Its got to be worth it for you as a person.

Blues Just Want To Have Fun!

I’m a big believer in fun. (Told you before I’m 40% BLUE.)

In fact, if it’s NOT fun, you won’t catch me within 20 miles of it.

Writing an e-book should be fun. READING one should definitely be fun.

And building a business for life should be CONSTANT FUN! Mine has been.

Yours should be, too.

Some VERY Bad Un-Fun

Failing at building a business. THAT is very bad un-fun.

The way I see a lot of people fail is, especially in the internet age, they get started and then they go WAY off in some other direction, not even realizing they’re getting farther and farther from their goal. (Solutions for this in Chapter 10.)

Because of the internet, it is simpler than ever to set up a step-by-step system to do the lead generation, follow-up, sponsoring & training functions.

But the internet bulges with clutter and infinite choices. So the task of identify- ing, coordinating, and implementing the components necessary for success is of- ten hopelessly confusing, way beyond the abilities of mortal man (or woman).

Ironic, isn’t it?

Be positive and affirm and appreciate people.

A powerful article from Sandra on the power of being positive and sharing those positive things with others. Rather than criticise someone for what
have done wrong, praise what they have done rite. Build their self esteem rather than tearing that person down.

Let’s Be Positive

Recently I’ve noticed that people seem to be fascinated by the negative.  Reality TV shows are more successful when they pit people against each other, and people like to gossip about sad/unfortunate things that happen to others.

Often when people receive excellent customer service, or really like something they’ve read or watched, they rarely say thank you or let anyone know how much they appreciate their efforts.  However, when people are dissatisfied with something, they go out of their way to loudly criticize, complain and let everyone know how unhappy they are.

Why is this?  I don’t understand why some people seem happier when they are negatively judging and criticizing then when they are acknowledging and appreciating. I wonder if they forget that in doing so they are hurting actual human beings, who have feelings and usually have good intentions.

I believe that most people are positive and find the good, but for some reason don’t say anything.  Maybe they think that others will step up with appreciation, so they don’t need to make the effort. If we all wait for others to give the positive, nobody will do anything, and only the negativity will be heard.

So, this month I’m focusing on finding the good, being appreciative and acknowledging people and their efforts.  Actually speaking up, making the phone call, writing the note, posting on social media, and thanking others for what they do.

It’s all about the positive and the good.

How about you?
