Asking/Belief/Resolve

Asking is the beginning of receiving. Make sure you don't go to the ocean with a teaspoon. At least take a bucket so the kids won't laugh at you.

There is no better opportunity to receive more than to be thankful for what you already have. Thanksgiving opens the windows of opportunity for ideas to flow your way.

Resolve says, "I will." The man says, "I will climb this mountain. They told me it is too high, too far, too steep, too rocky and too difficult. But it's my mountain. I will climb it. You will soon see me waving from the top or dead on the side from trying."

Disgust and resolve are two of the great emotions that lead to change.

"Vitamins for the Mind" is a weekly sampling of original quotes on a specific topic taken from The Treasury of Quotes by Jim Rohn. The burgundy hardbound book with gold-foil lettering is a collection of more than 365 quotes on 60 topics gathered from Jim's personal journals, seminars and books and spanning more than 40 years. Who are we

Who we are as a person is a combination of our beliefs; the talents and skills we have learnt and were given at birth. We were provided with these talents at birth to help us to fulfil our life’s purpose as a person. Then we are shaped into the person we have to become for our own future, we have been taught how to become the person we were meant to be for our own life’s purpose. What this means is that we are a sum of our lives experiences as a person that we are also the product of those skills and talents we were given at birth.

During our own lives, we are given learning experiences, which allow us to become that person. Then we also use our own talents to become that person who we were destined to be as a person, meaning that we have become the sum of our own experiences, which means that we are then the person who we were meant to be for our own future. So essentially, who we are as a person is both, the sum of our experiences and our talents we use both within our own lives.
