Commitment, when you are committed to achieving a goal no matter what happens then you do what it takes to become the person who is worth the goal you are seeking no matter what. To someone who is committed then it does not matter how long it takes for the goals achievement, as it is part of the journey to become worth that goal. As long as you are advancing towards the goal in some way, that is great. Let us say your goal is a weight loss goal, when you are a committed to achieving that goal then you do whatever it takes to achieve your goal. However, when you are not committed to that goal then all the excuses come up, you end up finding all the excuses needed to stop you from achieving that goal.
It is too hard; I am not worth that goal. Are just a couple of things which come up, I do not have the time, I do not have the money is another one. Yet when you are committed to the outcome no matter what you find a way. We all are tested every single day to see just how committed we are to that chosen goal. There will be people who work on sabotaging your progress towards that goal, however when you are committed to that goal you find a way to work around such. You will find some way to make things happen no matter what.
Being committed is about being all in no matter what, no matter what happens. You cannot be 1/2 into a marriage, you cannot be 1/2 into a business partnership, and you cannot be 1/2 into driving to the store to get the groceries. When you are only 1/2 into your goal you stop along the way look at the scenery and say ok that’s far enough and find it exceptionally hard to get the momentum back up to achieve the goal you are looking for. Yet when you are committed to your goal no matter what stands in your way, you are on your way to achieving your goal. Some people say it is too hard, I am not worth it. They have the failure mindset in mind, going well what is the use, why bother. It has not worked for me in the past why would it work now. When you do it with the attitude of expecting success, no matter what you achieve your goal, even though it may take 3 years, 7 years, 10 years even 20 years. Time is of no issue and that is the best thing as you have worked towards becoming worth that goal no matter what happens.
That is being committed and commitment towards a goal. You can never be less that 99% committed to a goals achievement, in area of your life whether it is a relationship, financial, health improvement or one of many other goals we have. It does not work, you have to be all in or you are out. When you are committed to that goal and the obstacles appear you overcome those obstacles. You just keep on working towards your goal knowing no matter what that you are going to achieve your goal in the end. With a 99%, commitment to a goal you will never be taken out when an obstacle comes up you will find a way to work around such.
