Feeling safe

One of the biggest things in a persons life is the need to feel safe. This is needed so that a person can move on from the problems and issues which have to do with their past. For me personally having not felt safe in some places until now, a lot is coming up and having to be dealt with yet at the same time it’s what is needed. For me I know that this is the only way to heal and I am glad, when a person feels unsafe they lock everything up and do things to ensure that they are personally safe. Locking the doors, making sure that no one is following them. Their overall concern is for their own personal safety, not feeling safe is not a good feeling at all.

Feeling unsafe somewhere puts even more strain on the relationship. Also the person who feels unsafe is constantly on edge, they do not feel comfortable at all. Therefore that person needs to find a way to be safe, for some people they can only open up with certain people and when they feel loved and respected. They feel appreciated, once a person does feel safe then it means that they can start to heal those past hurts, they can start to let go of what has been hurting them as a person and move on from there.
