One of the most important things people need in their diets is protein. Now protein happens to be the building blocks for our body, if your diet does not contain enough protein it will take the protein from other sources inside the body. Now it takes such from vital organs such as the heart. When a person does not eat enough protein the day prior they feel hungry throughout the next day. As a good rule of thumb people require a minimum of 100 grams of protein daily. There are a number of sources which we receive protein from, however you need to remember that everyone is different and have different personal needs.
What you need to do is work out how much your own body needs daily and then work on eating that amount of protein daily. If you eat enough protein you then feel hungry less often and full for longer periods. So you are not scavenging for food to satisfy your hunger. Now it is also that you need to know the time when you are most hungriest. Work on having enough to eat that you are not hungry during that period. Sometimes it takes work and time to figure out when you need to eat and means adjusting habits and what is eaten. However when you eat the right foods you are better off and you are not looking for something to fill you up.
