Beyond the Farm, Part 4
13. (The Brain). The domain of Your SUBCONSCIOUS MIND,
Your BRAIN controls Your life. Let’s be very clear
about this: You CANNOT control Your Subconscious; it
controls YOU.
It translates Your THOUGHTS into words and does Your
speaking and texting. It recognizes words and
translates them into pictures Your CONSCIOUS can grasp.
It manages all the systems of Your body, while it
processes numerous logic problems at the same time -
while navigating a path You are walking or a road You
are driving on. It is truly a multitasking machine.
If something strikes Your Subconscious as funny, it
makes You laugh. It makes You cry when something
triggers the appropriate feelings. It makes ALL Your
decisions to act based on FEELINGS, Feelings based on
Your BELIEFS.
It taps into the database of the Universal Intelligence
Library. But it has NO FREE WILL.
Every Belief You hold, every response, every habit,
every reaction to events is hard-wired in Your Brain.
These circuits are called Neural Pathways, strings of
neurons - nerve cells. Your behavior is dictated by
these pathways.
VIBRATION
The physical side of Your Thought Vibrations are
generated by Your Brain. The Vibrations are also
transmitted and received via the Super-Conscious, or
Spiritual, network between like-minded individuals.
The ENERGY SOURCE for these Vibrations are Your
FEELINGS. But You have no direct control over the
Feelings. They are, again, based on Your hard-wired
Beliefs.
FREE WILL
Your brain also processes electromagnetic input from
the objective Outer World. The input is all Vibration.
Smell and taste are electrical patterns generated by
reaction to the vibrating patterns of molecules.
Hearing is electrical patterns generated by reaction to
acoustic vibration. Sight is reaction to patterns of
light vibration. Touch is the reaction to the transfer
of heat vibration to and from the skin. “Rough” and
“smooth” are related to friction... heat energy.
The field of awareness of all this input is Your
Conscious Mind. Pain and pleasure are internal
communications from the Subconscious to the Conscious.
A blessing of the Conscious is that it
can focus on only one thing in any moment. This Focus
gives it the ability to CHOOSE.
CHOICE and DECISION are not the same. Decisions are
made by the Subconscious, whereas Choices are made by
the Conscious.
Through the accumulation of Your Choices, You program
Your reticular activating system (RAS) to ignore some
input, and pass other input along to Your Subconscious.
Here is the key to exercising Free Will via the Power
of SUGGESTION. We can control which Suggestions to
ignore, and which to pass along, via CHOICE. Therefore
ALL Suggestion is AUTO (or SELF)-SUGGESTION.
You can teach Your Subconscious new words, skills and
habits via Repetition. Through Repeated Suggestion, You
can INFLUENCE new hard-wired BELIEFS.
So, although You have no direct control over Your
Decisions or the Feelings behind them, You CAN
Influence the Beliefs that drive them.

CHAPTER 13
THE BRAIN: A BROADCASTING AND RECEIVING STATION FOR THOUGHT
The Twelfth Step toward Riches
I am an electrifying, pulsating being capable of great power…that is the main theme I received from this chapter, this time around. We are fearfully and most wonderfully made. 10,000,000,000 to 14,000,000,000 nerve cells occupy my cerebral cortex and that’s not even the most specular part, these nerve cells are arranged in definite, orderly patterns. The limits or abilities of the human brain are not fathomable. This portrays great electrifying power, I stand in awe of this one facet of my creation.
Thought is energy travelling at an exceedingly high rate of vibration. This type of thought passes from one brain to another, through the broadcasting station of the brain. When I want to use this broadcasting station, I must engage my Subconscious Mind, my Creative Imagination and dah dah….as always…Auto-Suggestion!!!!! These 3 are stimulated when my Desire becomes the focal point.
The greatest forces are intangible. I learn from accepting this that my “other self” is more Powerful than my physical self…wow, that is a relief and totally awesome. The body doesn’t live on, it is just a temporary dwelling place for the “Real Me”! When focus is on the physical man becomes mere “cavemen”, when the focus is on the spiritual side, the essence of the man, life has unlimited possibilities. This is a reason why Personal Development is so important, it feeds our inner self, it stimulates the mind and the senses (all 6 of them).
The Mentoring for Free system has opened my mind to this awakening, this renewal of self as it has for many others. When I focus on the things that really matter, they are all connected to my inner self, not my physical self. It is the use and expansion of our brain that allows us to have faith in the unseen. Our body has separate units, with separate functions, but they are all linked together for the better good of the whole body. I really like what Hill said, “ It is inconceivable that such a network of intricate machinery should be in existence for the sole purpose of carrying on the physical functions incidental to growth and maintenance of the physical body.” Of course it is inconceivable, we aren’t just a physical body, we are also a spiritual body.
When my brain begins to “soak up” and maintain the essence of this book, it makes so much sense to me. Having 3 people work closely together, sharing ideas and thoughts, is precisely the way it was meant to be…2 heads and 3 heads, etc are better than one, adding more brain power, in a harmonious nature is simply brilliant!
So, you brilliant and wonderful people of this Mastermind group, thank you for your electrifying, thoughts, energy, love and power!

The Brain
Napoleon Hill describes the Brain as a sending and receiving station for
thought. I'm going to share a few real life examples with you that I have
experienced in my life.
A few years back before the markets took a dive, I was researching and
planning a new business venture. I came up with an idea that a certain
area of town needed a tanning salon because the area had become very
populated during the real-estate boom. The area already hada new
Kroger grocery store on one side of the road and a Publix grocery store
on the other side. There was a bank, several restaurants, a drug store and
a Starbucks all in this one area that had just recently been built to handle
the population growth. I knew based on the market research these other
businesses had already done to locate their businesses there. The area
was a prime for a tanning salon because the nearest on was over 20 miles
away. I knew I had to act fast before someone else picked up on my
idea. There was space available in the Kroger shopping center right next
to Kroger so I knew the location was perfect for high visibility. I was about
to take action and secure the space when the market crashed and I had
to take a step back and assess the financial situation. I made the
decision to shelf the project because of the economy.
The reason I tell that story is because I was in the area today and noticed
that someone had picked up on my thoughts for opening a tanning salon.
They have already put the business sign up and they had coming soon signs
in the windows. I know some people may say that I had nothing to do with
that business opening up, but it is opening up in the exact location I was
going to open one myself. I know I put the vibe out there and another
brain tuned in on it and ran with it.
I had a similar experience some time back when I started thinking about
building a theme park called Bible Land. My idea was to make it educational
and entertaining for all religious faiths. I had thought about a replica of
Noah’s ark designed as a Disney type ride with animated animals and a
tram that would take you through the ark with audio narrating the story
of the great flood complete with the sound of rain and the movement of
the ark making it a real to life experience. I had thought about creating
a replica of King Solomon’s temple, as well as several other attractions
from Bible stories and attractions from other religious faiths. I never took
action on that idea but a few years ago I heard on the news one evening
to my surprise that a company was making plans to create a park called
Bible Land. Although it never manifested, my point is that when you put
the thoughts out there other people can and do pick up on them through
the ether. And if you sit around just thinking, somebody else will receive
those thought and take action in place of you.
Mentoring for Free was just an idea in the beginning and I'm sure somebody
had thought of it before but didn’t take action on it. Michael and Linda
Dlouhy came along picked up the vibration and took massive action to
Make Mentoring for Free a reality for everybody. Regardless of what
others may think Mentoring for Free is an ingenious concept that no
doubt other people are now trying to duplicate. Unfortunately their
efforts are foiled because they have a selfish agenda. Their agenda is
to get you signed up with them as quickly as possible and it’s not free.
It’s about them; it’s not about you, like it is with Mentoring for Free. With
Mentoring for Free yes we would like to have you join us in our businesses
but we lead by example not by manipulation. The decision is always yours
should you decide to join and not because we closed you on the idea.
Because we understand if we close you the first time then we will wind up
having to close you again and again and again to keep you going. So we
take action and put the thoughts out there for like minded people to
find us and to send us their why so that we can help them with
their struggles.

After 52 years of strictly using my brain to try and solve all my problems with limited success in certain areas I am looking forward to tapping into the areas of my brain that have been less used. This chapter talks about Telepathy and Clairvoyance and how the brain can be trained to learn these new types of skills. I am looking at these skills as not how to use them as parlor tricks but in how to enrich my life.
From what I’ve read, both in this book and others is these brain skills are really nothing more than a highly tuned sense of intuition and the feeling of the flow of energy around us. Like any skill it is something which will take repetition in order to grow the ability.
I was thinking of just some of the ways to use these little used abilities throughout my day. I see this as an opportunity to bring added value to whatever I am doing.
When I have a list of people to follow up with I can use these skills to help me to decide who to call off of my list. Rather than just start at the top and work to the bottom like I would normally do. I take the time to get quiet through meditation then think about my goal (purpose) for making the calls and ask for guidance on who is ready to hear whatever message I am sharing. I have begun having success when I call this way, the people I talk to are open and available to talk and I am not coming in contact with as many people who are only looking to promote their opportunity to me. I have noticed the quality of calls has vastly improved.
I think back on many of the Mentoring For Free calls, especially on Saturdays when listening to Michael and how he interacts with people. It is obvious to me he is someone who has learned to use these skills in how he ask questions and interacts with people. The conversations will usually go much deeper than when we ask more standard type of questions.
There are three coffee hangouts in the town I live in. I usually spend time in any of them as I have met a number of new friends or associates at them. Using the power of the brain I can let that guides me to the one to head to, to be spontaneous and know I will run into the perfect person that way. To not get into the routine of well it is Tuesday so that is Starbucks day.
There are so many ways, many of them totally untapped opened to us. The brain is a marvelous tool we can learn to use in new and creative ways when we stay open to regular learning.
