The set of Your sail

⛵️The set of Your sail

As an entrepreneur with chronic conditions, my “wind” isn’t just a bad day.
It’s pain. It’s fatigue. It’s a calendar full of appointments.

It’s easy to get stuck staring at the storm.
But Jim Rohn taught me the single most powerful lesson for my life and business:
“You can’t change the direction of the wind, but you can adjust your sails.”
My disability is the wind. My schedule is the wind.

My mindset? That’s the sail.

For things to change, I had to change. Not my circumstances, but my approach to them.

My 3 “sail adjustments”:

⛵ REFRANME: I stopped saying “I can’t.” I started asking, “How can I?” (e.g., working in 20-min bursts, using voice-to-text, leveraging my team).

🧠 REFOCUS: I guard my mind. I trade doom-scrolling for 10 minutes of a personal development podcast. What you feed your mind will set your sail.

🤝 RECONNECT: I find my “possibility” tribe. We’re the average of who we spend time with. My circle (even online) is full of people who see possibilities, not just problems.

You don’t need a new set of circumstances. You just need a new perspective.
You are the navigator.
