💖 Small Surprises vs. Grand Gestures: Which Builds a Stronger Partnership?
I saw a great question today: "Are you for frequent small surprises or occasional grand gestures?"
As a #dadpreneur and a parent living with #ChronicConditions, my answer has become crystal clear over the years.
Grand gestures are wonderful! 🎁 That surprise weekend away or the extravagant gift. But honestly? As a #DisabledEntrepreneur, my energy is a precious (and often unpredictable) resource. Planning something "grand" can feel like another mountain to climb.
For us, the real strength in our relationship is built in the small, everyday moments. ✨
It's the "frequent small surprises" that win, every single time.
Why? Because they are sustainable, even on the tough days.
* It's the warm drink ☕ brought to my desk without me asking.
* It's folding that last load of laundry when my partner knows I'm in pain.
* It's a simple "I'm proud of you" text 📱 in the middle of a busy day of prospecting.
* It's queuing up their favourite show, just because.
When you're a busy #parent, an #entrepreneur, or managing a health challenge, these small acts of service and attention are everything. They aren't about money; they're about seeing each other.
It's just like in our #NetworkMarketing business, right? We teach that small, consistent daily actions lead to massive results. Consistency over intensity.
Why would our most important relationship be any different?
These small, consistent deposits into our "relationship bank" build a foundation so strong that it doesn't need a grand gesture to hold it up. It’s about feeling loved and supported in the daily grind. 🤝
So, I'm curious... what team are you on?
Team Small Surprises 💖 or Team Grand Gesture 🎉?
