😀👪👍 My father walked away from his marriage of a number of years stating that he didn’t want dependants anymore more. For years my own decision was to blame myself as was dealing with health challenges and occasional part time work. Aswell as being a volunteer.
It was my own decision to be a volunteer, aswell as to blame myself for him leaving. however it was his decision to walk away from marriage. It was dad’s choice to be involved in my life. These day’s its rare to see or talk with dad, he’s barely in my own life.
I’ve asked him to attend events and can call on the day with an excuse that shows his own choice was that he was never committed to attending just like my step mum who have only met once and has never met my wife or our son at all. Their choice to be involved in our life or not.
