As you may know I volunteer my time to Marine Rescue NSW. My unit, Marine Rescue Terrey Hills, provides a 24X7 marine radio watch and is the primary radio base for the Sydney Region and provides overnight coverage for large parts of the NSW coast. Our role is continually expanding and we need to grow the size and scale of a our radio room and training facilities to support the increase in demand. That expansion comes at considerable cost and we need to raise funds.
