A powerful lesson from my brilliant mentor and friend Ken Klemm. Thank you very much Ken for the amazing lesson,
Mentoring For Free is 9 years old today, December 4,
2013. It was the first and remains the only program
which utilizes the power of Pull-Through Marketing
without violating the principles of the method. (See
the Golden Rule.)
When it was founded, MFF was a lot different than it is
today. Facebook began 10 months earlier, but no one
outside of Boston knew about it.
The MFF Recipe consisted of only 2 steps: read “Success
in Ten Steps” and have a private Coaching Call. There
were no recorded skills calls, no video training, no
archive websites. The only recorded audio available was
the Colors CD. There was only one Capture Page for STS.
All training was done by live conference calls hosted
by Michael Dlouhy and Richard Dennis. They were not
recorded.
Though not as powerful and diverse as it is today, at
its inception MFF was unique and bold. It offered
frustrated Network Marketers HOPE.
The frustration of its Founders, and their Hope that
they could make a difference, kindled the IDEA of MFF.
The result of pure Creative Imagination; Specialized
Knowledge, Masterminding, Organized Planning and
Persistence did the rest.
“Find out what the Hungry Mob wants, and FEED THEM!”
Then, as now, frustrated Network Marketers wanted 2
things more than anything else: really good leads and
better retention.
Your Friend and Servant,
Ken Klemm - Florida, USA
P.S. Imagination does not exist where there is no HOPE.

* "Try our product or service. We have a 30-day money-back guarantee."
Did you ever notice that these guarantees seldom close the prospect? The prospect feels embarrassed to take advantage of a refund, so the prospect never makes the initial commitment to try the product, service or business opportunity. You've noticed that, haven't you? So why not try this? Give your prospect the "truth" guarantee. It will shock your prospect and create a "fear of loss" motivation. Say: "I have one guarantee about our business. If you don't try anything, you are guaranteed that nothing will change. The commute time to your job won't change. The limited time you have with your family won't change. Your current paycheck won't change."

2. They must want to lose weight.
Hold a drawing of the submitted losing lottery tickets and give away the one-month's supply of diet products to the winner. You would get plenty of word-of-mouth advertising and publicity from such an innovative campaign. So use your imagination to promote your business, products or services. It's cheaper than paying for advertising.

Fat Boy Report.
I'm not really fat. My body is just a bit ... swollen. Must be an allergy to vegetables. Hope Christmas cookies work as an antidote.

From Making a Living to Creating a Lifestyle
An amazing newsletter from Jim Rohn this week on creating a lifestyle rather than making a living.
Thank you for your amazing wisdom Jim,
After having struggled for so long, it took a shift in attitude for my family and me when success started to happen. When I started making a little extra money at age 25...

When I discovered those kinds of concepts at age 25, you can imagine it was hard for me to sleep nights that first year. I got so excited about changing everything. And one discipline leads to another. One change leads to another. Feeling good about yourself and starting to make the turn to do something you've never done before, then it starts to work, wow, and then you get excited about changing other areas of your life as well. Now after you have made your fortune, the money might not seem as big a deal. Fortunately you can then create even more powerful opportunities, in particular, opportunities for benevolence, philanthropy and giving. Now I'm certainly not saying to focus only on external pleasures and rewards. Your relationships, health and spirituality are all of more consequence. But in the beginning, when the rewards of your hard work begin paying off, make sure and treat yourself and those closest to you to a new world of lifestyle and celebrations. If you know you want something in your life to change, you just need that one moment, that one episode, one realization, one action. Make that magical moment appear with The Day That Turns Your Life Around, available at JimRohn.com. “The most important question to ask on the job is not ‘What am I getting?’ The most important question to ask on the job is ‘What am I becoming?’” – Jim Rohn
