True Leadership part one.

One of the things that we have within our own lives is leaders. They can even be leaders in a family.

They are often people who lead us in a new direction, in life there are people who will do anything to get ahead in life from knocking someone or backstabbing them for some reason. A true leader is someone who encourages people to make mistakes, yet also remains as calm as can when a mistake happens.

Yet also a true leader is someone who practices unconditional acceptance on everyone as a person. They accept a person as they are, the way the communicate. The way they talk, that they have limits in their abilities, their skin colour, their spelling as person, they accept their own floors and work with them. They accept others floors too.

They accept responsibility for the mistake and will refuse to pass the buck. Yet when there is a win the credit goes to others. However there are people who like to place fear in people and to make them feel bad about something. To make them feel small for a mistake or failure as a person. They can email you a comment via your contact form and in an attempt to make you feel bad for not conforming to their wishes or demands. They may say something in order to get you to conform to their wishes as a person. A lot of these people have a very inflated ego and enjoy bringing people down as it makes them feel better about themselves and feel like a big person.

As stated by Napoleon Hill throughout think and grow rich. Leadership is by consent and cannot be forced on someone at all, when you force someone eventually they will say no more. I am not putting up with this anymore, that is when the person walks away they will say I resign, I am out of here and do it. The person may even lodge a complaint, yet when it fails to get dealt with and others ridicule them then they are forced to leave. Saying good luck and in life a person will learn from such.

A true leader is someone who can put up with that ridicule and yet when there is a legitimate complaint they hear what a person has to say. They talk about the issue. They do not sweep the issue under the carpet which have seen happen a few times throughout own career.

Throughout own leadership career I have met many people who simply were incapable of accepting how lead as a person. They were incapable of accepting who was as a person, think about it a 35 year old guy who has been living with a back injury since was 17. Was epileptic at 4 years old and grew out of it, for me to just maintain own health it means regular exercise. I am at the gym for 2 hours 3 times a week. It means eating rite, now its hard for people understand that I am up at 4 am on those 3 days just to go to the gym and get things done. Yes I do take a break when it is needed yet I am aware what has to be done to keep own health.

They just are unable to understand that is what has to be done. A true leader is someone who does what has to be done, when it’s up at 4 am to get to the gym. When its doing the dog watch as a old work place called it which is 0130 to 6 am shift for a volunteer job as no one else wants to do it. Its staying up later to make a phone call or getting up early to make a phone call. That is what a true leader does.

They do whatever they can to achieve their goals. Yes they may suffer many setbacks and failures yet they will learn from such.

Your comments and feedback are important to me. What are your thoughts on true leadership?
