Inspiring quotes

"There is nothing for you to go back and live over, or fix, or feel regret about now. Every part of your life has unfolded just right. And so --now -- knowing all that you know from where you now stand, now what do you want? The answers are now coming forth to you. Go forth in joy, and get on with it."

How To Get “Staying Power”

The following is from Success in 10 steps by Michael Dlouhy a wonderful post on your why. Why are you here and what were you meant to do with your life, as Michael states people always tell your their goals. Never their real why or motivation for why they are doing such.

People always tell their goals.

Fine. You need goals.

But your "WHY" is a big, big, big reason that will keep you going.

Where's your fire? What do you LOVE? What do you HATE? What is REALLY im- portant to you? What do you REALLY want? What situation in life do you want to get out of so it never ever, EVER happens again?

It's not goals. It's not money, either.

When I started coaching, people would write their "WHY"… usually money. They’d need to pay a big hospital bill, or replace a car. Whatever.

But your real "WHY" is never money.
It's about who YOU really are.
Your driving factor must be WAY more than money.

It's something you want ... or something you want to get away from. Better yet, BOTH. If your "WHY" is a 70% and you come up against an obstacle that's a 72%, you're gone. You'll drop out, disappear.

But when your "WHY" is a 99.9%, then you're here to stay and be successful.

Why are you on this planet? In one form or another, you're here to change lives, touch lives, and help people. What were you meant to do?

From Success in 10 Steps by Michael Dlouhy, a wonderful post on the reason you are here and doing what you do. As stated by Michael we do speak our goals just not our real reason why we are doing things.

Time of your life–Friday Insperation Insight of the day

The following is from Insight of the day Friday insperation. A wonderful poem to close out the year. Wishing everyone a happy new year and the best in life, love and happiness ahead.

Here is your Friday poem to contemplate on the year past and the one to come,

Time of Your Life

Do you reflect upon the years gone by
as you prepare for yet one more,
with promises and resolutions
that you have made before?

Do memories of people and places
once as sharp as any knife
now blend in bits and pieces
in a kaleidoscope of life?

Do you squander precious minutes
seeking reasons why you're here,
contemplating your life's purpose
year after passing year?

Persuade yourself to understand,
it matters not the reason.
Your purpose is to seize the life
in every passing season!

Learn to see things differently.
Let your thoughts and actions change.
Allow your views of past and present
to slowly rearrange.

Let your spirit start anew;
become focused and aware
of the moments and the blessings
that surround you everywhere!

Do not permit past memories:
the where…the who…the how
to become more important
than the ones you’re making now.

Live life in person;
inhabit every day.
You may not like where you are now,
but you’re there anyway!

A lifetime is a puzzle,
every failure, each success
adds another jagged piece
to fit together with the rest.

To finish the picture
and view the masterpiece whole,
fill the time of your life
with your heart and your soul.

Acquaint yourself with your feelings
and heighten your senses.
Experience living.
Put down your defenses.

You don't have to know why
you are you, and I’m me.
Believe it is what it is
and it’s how it should be.

You did not choose your date of birth,
nor do you know your last,
so live this gift that is your present,
before it becomes your past.
