Unless you are a military officer, you always get more when you ask for things politely that by orders

Unless you are a military officer, you always get more when you ask for things politely that by orders:
Armies spend endless hours training people to follow orders without question. This is an essential quality of a soldier. In everyday life, however, things do not work that way. Businessmen, politicians and civic leaders have learned that ordinary people performed their tasks prominently, when asked, not when ordered to do so. Even when you handle people, you will achieve much more if you ask them to do something you add introductory phrases such as, “Would you mind …” or “I can ask for their help …” or always effective catchphrase “Please … “. Any of them will ensure success in what you ask that intimidating working for you and instilling fear. And above all, when you request help from those who are not directly you will find much more available to requests giving orders.
