DECISION: THE MASTERY OF PROCRASTINATION
The Seventh Step toward Riches
Master Napoleon points us the fact that LACK OF DECISION is one of the 30 major causes of FAILURE. Also, PROCRASTINATION, the “intelligent enemy” of DECISION, is a common enemy which practically every man must conquer.
Procrastination IS one of our time’s evils. It is the opposite of decision transmuted in action. Do we have any smart option to overcome this illness? Yes, we do. We must fight consistently, persistently, relentlessly against procrastination in order to avoid failing in our goals due to indecision. Action is Decision and vice versa. Just do it. It’s Simple.
Simple? Yeah. Be a DECISION Doer and Maker. But, how to be one? We have to be obstinate to death, with courage and faith, taking intelligent risks, involving even our own integrity, that is to say making a definite decision on the strength of desire, primary decision, faith, persistence. Don’t allow us to be inundated with unimportant tasks and time-robbers that drain our energy. Whatever be the strategy to start our day, either with the easy task (The Kaizen Way) or the difficult one (Eat that Frog), just do it and visualize the final result. Period.
Be a DECISION Doer and Maker. It sounds great!!! But, what sort of Decision to take that leads us to success or failure? Ok, Master Hill, in simple words, establishes,
1. Take Decisions Promptly + Change Decision Slowly = Success.
2. Take Decisions Slowly + Change Decisions Quickly and Often = Failure
It makes sense? For sure and of course our decision is to be a Successful Person: being ourselves - understanding that other opinions about us are not our realities - learning how to cleanse our minds - knowing how to think, listen to, feel and not what to think, … - avoiding or being aware in a smart way of greedy/egotistic leaders, pharisee gurus, 'heavy hitters'... - creating, building and supporting eco-ethic human, business, industries, teamwork, mastermind group relationships – being a Mentor with a Heart of Service – (…)
By the same token, through this chapter, Master Napoleon gives us priceless and incomparable examples of personages, all of whom understood that man is what he thinks, says, tells, does and makes. Those men were true evangelists of their principles and decisions for America, the World and for posterity.
My experiences about Decision
One of my Rule of Thumb that I have learned from my parents is “Thoughts are and become Things” and now it is consolidated via the MFFSystem-Master Mind Group. These things carry over me towards Decisions that I work out and affect in order to change my live, my networking-connections (family, friends, acquaintances, intelligent enemies, prospects, biz opportunity, etc.)
Many times my decisions were or are controversial and had or have to overcome third people’s opinion because, at the end, is my reality. Feeling scare? Of course but I knew that I had or have to do or make it. No Options my Friends, viz:
• When I came to The USA with US$ 120.00 in my pocket
• When I had to accept and do any kind of job in order to survive …
• When I got my High School Diploma after my working hours
• When I had to strive a sort of emotional illness due my Father passed away
• When I got to resign of a job because of discrimination, bullies, etc. attitudes in there
• When I started two years ago, step by step, my Networking Marketing Business’ knowledge.
• When I took many turning points in, on, at several aspects of my life on May 17th, 2011
• When I enrolled to MFF, 30DMC, MFFPro
• When I enrolled to STB
• Now, I am on the road as networker with a NMB as partner and with a heart of service doing it steadily, persistently, relentlessly in a smart way, and many, many times alone (Maverick?) or with my teamwork, and being like a Magnet.
• I am totally focused to improve and follow my English skills, My Why’s, My Three Reasons and My Organized Master Plan.
