The Eighth Step toward Riches
Persistence is the POWER OF WILL.
An example of some who were effective in their use of persistence were the Fords, Carnegies, Rockefellers, Napoleon Hill and Edisons. One might be inclined to think the average person couldn’t be included in that group.
We can be included if we apply PERSISTENCE to Napoleon Hill’s 13 factors. We must have a definite goal and a definite plan to reach that goal. The amount of PERSISTENCE we have is directly proportional to the INTENSITY OF ONE’S DESIRE.
I can relate to this INTENSITY OF DESIRE. When I met my future wife, Lucy, I’m not sure of the exact moment, but sometime early in our relationship I knew I was going to marry her. The possibility of that not happening NEVER entered my mind. I just knew it was going to happen.
I’m working toward that same PERSISTENCE mind set in my MLM business with the help of the MFF mastermind group. Finally, I have found a system that will help me achieve any goal I set.
I have already experienced self-talk being able to get me back on track when I stray off a bit.
There is no substitute for persistence:
“EVERY FAILURE BRINGS WITH IT THE SEED OF AN EQUIVALENT ADVANTAGE.”
Those of us who accept this rule know from experience the soundness of persistence. My marriage of 48 years is a good example.
Success of our MLM business is based on the 8 elements of persistence:
Definiteness of purpose
Desire
Self-Reliance
Definiteness of Plans
Accurate knowledge
Co-operation
Will-Power
Habit
Several of these elements have already had a positive effect on my life by improving my relationship with others. The road is long and narrow, but now I know there is a roadmap that will get me there.
