I would like to start my lesson this week by highlighting a quote from this chapter which I believe holds the key to this subject. Hill says “Read the entire book through, then come back to this chapter, and begin at once to put your imagination to work on the building of a plan, or plans, for the transformation of your DESIRE into money. Detailed instructions for the building of plans have been given in almost every chapter. Carry out the instructions best suited to your needs, reduce your plan to writing, if you have not already done so. The moment you complete this, you will have DEFINITELY given concrete form to the intangible DESIRE. Read the preceding sentence once more. Read it aloud, very slowly, and as you do so, remember that the moment you reduce the statement of your desire, and a plan for its realization, to writing, you have actually TAKEN THE FIRST of a series of steps, which will enable you to convert the thought into its physical counterpart.” I wonder what the percentage is that actually do this?
The Network Marketing business is like an affordable franchise where the plan has already been established and reduced to paper for us to follow and duplicate. The Mentoring for Free back office system has already been written and developed, reduced to paper for us to follow and duplicate. Where else on earth can anybody regardless of background find an affordable business plan that can make all their dreams come true and still be there for your children’s children?
The reason Hill says to reduce your plan to paper is because that gives it a physical presence in the world. It is no longer just thought energy; you have now placed it in the infant stages of manifestation. Take for example baking a pie in the oven. You don’t see what the heat is doing to the inside of the pie to make the dough rise and the crust brown but once the heat energy is focused it, begins to transform the ingredients in the pan into a delicious eatable pie.
I personally have taken to carrying a journal with me at all times to capture ideas and plans that come to me throughout the day. Putting my ideas down on paper helps me to assess where I'm at, where I have been and where I am headed.
Thanks Michael and Linda for putting together such a wonderful, duplicable, training and lead generation platform called Mentoring for Free. What a brilliant idea you gave birth to. I have noticed dozens of others trying to duplicate your system, but when you look closely at what they are doing you begin to realize they are not follow through with the mentoring for free part. They claim they will help anybody, but before they get the words out of their mouth they have already become impatient and started to pitch you on their deal. Be aware of the Lion dressed in a sheep’s fleece.

We humans are an impatient group of people. We want what we want without working for it. I know this doesn’t apply to present company ? What jumped out as a reminder to me was “The creative faculty becomes more alert, more receptive to vibrations
from the sources mentioned, in proportion to its development through USE. This statement is significant! Ponder over it before passing on.” Even Mr. Hill years ago knew what the problems was going to be for many, taking what we learn and USE it!
And in the very next paragraph, he reminds us again with “Both the synthetic and creative faculties of imagination become more alert with use, just as any muscle or organ of the body develops through use.”
And again here “Your imaginative faculty may have become weak through inaction. It can be revived and made alert through USE.”
And once again “Transformation of the intangible impulse, of DESIRE, into the tangible
reality, of MONEY, calls for the use of a plan, or plans. These plans must be formed with the aid of the imagination, and mainly, with the synthetic faculty.”
I do not find it surprising that we are being constantly reminded here to Use what we learn, not just read it and forget it. It is too easy for me to get distracted and off course for my desires unless I use discipline to keep my focus on what I want and the only way for me to make that happen is by repetition.
The use of imagination is something new and totally outside my normal realm of experience for 50 years, so it is no wonder if I do not constantly work with the principle of imagination that I will not have success in building my desire until it is burning hot, which will then let me tap into the power of creation of my thoughts made manifest into the physical.

TRANSMUTED INTO CASH THROUGH THE POWER OF DEFINITE PURPOSE,
PLUS DEFINITE PLANS.”
Here are two big keys in how we can get what we want!

Chapter 6
Imagination
For most of my life I did not even know what imagination was. I thought if a person saw
something that was not real they needed medication.
This caused me to be a very competitive person. All someone had to do was say someone
did something better than me and I would practice it until I became better.
I would do this for selfish reasons. I had fear of loss. I hated to see other people succeed.
And I always saw limitations with everything I did. If three people worked together to get
something done I was always the one who let the other person make the decisions and I would
do what it took to do my part to the best of my ability. But then when the person who took
charge and made sure everything happened correctly would get the appreciation, I would
think….well they could not have done it without me.
I have been a catcher in softball for 40 years now. I was the one who covered all of home plate
so the person could not score. I would backup the first baseman. But then if someone would run
into home before I got back to home plate and the pitcher covered home and got them out. I would
be mad. I would think. If you were not in my way I would have made it back to the plate in time to
get them out.
Once I figured out how important it was to use your imagination, I became a totally different person.
By using my imagination, I was able to find the creativity within myself. I was able to control my own
thoughts, which enabled me to be free to be myself.
I started to become confident and humble. I was able to trust other people. I became very giving.
I learned how to live life through the slight edge. I learned how to work as a team member.
When I started feeling the power within myself to attract the good things life brings. I was able to
start taking the time to laugh and play and enjoy life.
Having the faith of knowing what I think and do in life is what I attract, I am able to help other people
rise in their life as well.
My softball team has been in last place for many years. Amazingly enough we have finished 2nd or 3rd
for the last two years.
I now know what Michael means when he says if you want more you have to become more.
I am awake, energized and alive!! I AM MAGNIFICENT!! And I am loving life!!

Chapter 6, Imagination
THE WORKSHOP OF THE MIND
THE FIFTH STEP TOWARD RICHES
Look around you, your home, your car, the public buildings, the
library, and all the books. Everything you see, every tool, every
household implement and device is fist perceived from the
creative mind of man through imagination. I am sitting in a
hospital room right now looking around me at the amazing
equipment. A thought came to mind of the current space
mission to Mars, how about the moon landing in 1969. All these
things I mention were developed from the imagination of human
beings with a desire to create. They were ideas, invisible thought
of no substance other than a personal vision transmuted to its
physical equivalent.
These ideas come to us through two sources, one, SYNTHETIC
IMAGINATION:—Hill says, "Through this faculty, one may
arrange old concepts, ideas, or plans into new combinations.
This faculty creates nothing. It merely works with the material of
experience, education, and observation with which it is fed.
Second, CREATIVE IMAGINATION: The faculty of creative
imagination is the faculty through which “hunches” and
“inspirations” are received. It is by this faculty that all basic or
new ideas are handed over to man."
All our "needs" fulfilled, brought to our finger tips by the creative
mind of man. We are so lucky to be the recipients of the
products and services produced by such great imaginative
thinkers.
In network marketing we have had many of these creative
people of great imagination walk before us paving the way for us
to create our own success by tapping into a mastermind and
using the products and tools to help us transmute our own
desires through creative thought and action into their physical
equivalent.
What we must come to realize is, in network marketing the only
way to progress is to bring others with us, their success must be
our utmost priority. Our creativity comes from our imagined
dream and a powerful why, causing a burning desire great
enough to bring us to action, generating results, confidence and
courage in offering others the opportunity.
I have an associate on my team who through his “Creative
Imagination” by using self talk and requesting help through this
medium was given an idea to create a group on fb. He then
used his synthetic imagination finding tools and resources
already available to develop this idea. Net result, within
about three weeks after launch he had 300 people in his group
and over 40 joined his business to date. Without positive
self-talk the "Idea" may have never been conceived. Without
the practical and astute use of his synthetic imagination the
idea would have just remained an idea.
Hill says to focus your attention on the development of the
synthetic imagination, because this is the faculty which we will
use more often in the process of converting desire into its
physical equivalent. By plugging in to the "Mentoring for Free"
Mastermind team, the daily skills training along with the
thousands of hours of recorded training in the archives you will
be given many ideas for development of the synthetic
imagination and training in the skill of developing the "Creative"
imagination. You will be given instruction on how to develop an
executable working plan for your success. Hill says read the
entire book than come back to this chapter and put your
imagination to work in the development of the plan.
Hill gives example of how to make practical use of “Imagination”
in converting an idea into its physical equivalent. He says,
“Ideas are the beginning points of all fortunes. Ideas are
products of the imagination. In this chapter Hill examines a few
well known ideas which have surrendered great fortunes, with
the hope that these illustrations will convey to us definite
information concerning the method by which imagination may be
used in accumulating riches.
Hill says, “The story of practically every great fortune starts with
the day when a creator of ideas and a seller of ideas get together
and work in harmony.” Sounds a lot like Network Marketing
doesn’t it!
Millions of people go through life hoping for favorable “breaks.”
My good fortune came in meeting my “mentor at “Mentoring for
Free” plugging in and gaining the cooperation of the mastermind
group there.
Once we are given this break and I might add, it will come for all
who seek it. We then must personally add says Hill,
“Determination, Definiteness of purpose, Desire to attain the
goal, and Persistence. It is no ordinary Desire that survives
disappointment, discouragement, temporary defeat, criticism,
and the constant reminding of “waste of time.” It must be a
Burning Desire!
Your favorable break is looking directly at you so open your eyes
to your “Imagination”. Your "clue" to the right opportunity is to
learn, understand and use the “Five Pillars” of “Do Diligence”.
