For the first time in two years of participating in this 30 Day Mental Cleanse mastermind, I am writing my lesson learned right "from the cuff". I am going to just give you my thoughts on imagination, and how I am using my creative imagination, as best I can, to create the life and business I have always wanted.
Last week, my friend Matt Geib highly recommended that I read the book "The Slight Edge" by Jeff Olson, and he asked me to focus on Ch. 10 through the end of the book. The message in the end of the book was all about creating goals or dreams that we can Focus on making our reality through taking small, consistent actions every day. So, I found myself writing out my 5 biggest dreams or goals that I want to make my present reality, and all of that process was about using my imagination.
1) I allowed my imagination to just run wild as I thought about how great it would feel to earn the pin level of Diamond in my company and how amazing it would feel to celebrate my success with my friends and team at our annual conference. 2) I thought of how proud I am of my son, that he has earned his driver's license and how he as focused on how awesome and fun it feels to be handling the responsibility being a licensed driver. 3) My imagination really ran wild as I experienced the images, sensations and feeling of taking all of my kids with me on the MFF cruise with Michael and Linda Dlouhy. 4) My imagination was really working overtime as I experienced was my house looks like with new siding, "green" decking and beautiful new flooring. And, 5) I really enjoyed allowing my imagination to take me to my local Ford dealership as I pay cash for my new Ford Flex.
Now, every morning and every night, I take just 15 minutes to read each of my new goals and allow my imagination to run wild as I day dream my way into making each of my 5 goals into my current life experience.
To Your Peace and Prosperity,
David H. Paul

Imagination at work
I use imagination all the time, when I am trying to solve challenges, issues and problems. The synthetic imagination is the easiest, since it is the use of known ideas and facts, recombined and processed into new constructs. The creative imagination comes from the subconscious, and arrives as responses from the desires we have planted there. Just this week, as I further develop task lists and actions to solve my challenges, issues and problems, I believe I have made significant progress when the creative imagination provides missing pieces to the puzzles. There are three specific areas where this can be illustrated from my experiences this week.
The first area involves my mind set when interacting with other people, an external focus. Having begun to develop a skill to understand whether a person is direct or indirect is part of the synthetic imagination. Being grounded as an indirect myself, I have to rely on my imagination to envision the thought process of someone who is direct. I have to rely upon the creative imagination to provide insight into this process. Although I believe I can operate in the process of a direct, it takes a lot of energy and focus, and even then, I have to have faith that my creative imagination provides the answer as it is needed. I may have to tweak my self-talk, or auto-suggestion a little, if I find that my creative imagination needs to work overtime to another solution, if, as often happens, I come up with the answer in hindsight, after the interaction is well concluded.
The second area involves my mind set too, but with an internal focus. This is the easiest for me, being indirect, as it is easy for me to think through tasks and form action plans. The challenge, here, for me, is that it is much more difficult to let go of the planning and consider it good enough. I can easily get stuck trying to make it perfect. Realizing this seems to make this piece less daunting, but if not for my creative imagination I'm sentenced to a prison cell, in my mind, where I regurgitate the known ideas and facts over and over again ad nauseam.
The third area also involves an internal focus and addresses my mood, or how I am feeling. I can be at peace, silencing the annoyances to the point of ignoring that stimulus for action. Although pleasant, I certainly won't be able to move forward without some stimulus. If I am totally engaged in turmoil, like that experienced on Mondays, when the big change occurs from being in a rhythm of self-motiviation, to that where I have to embrace the desires and goals of others and the demands this places on me, this can result in overload or crisis. A balance has to be maintained, where there is sufficient tension and stress to motivate and drive forward, but managed in a spirit of positive emotions. I constantly call upon my creative imagination to resolve this challenge.
For all of these areas, my self-talk provides the underlying focus which is fed to my subconscious. My subconscious, in turn, provides responses from the creative imagination in tune with my desires. Otherwise the ideas brought forward may be off the melody, so I have to keep focused on fueling my mind with the rhythm of thought, the vibration of harmony upon which _I_ choose to devote my energy and efforts.
with gratitude and in service,

CHAPTER 6
IMAGINATION: THE WORKSHOP OF THE MIND
The Fifth Step toward Riches
Albert Einstein says, “Imagination is more important than Knowledge.”
OK. I have learned that General knowledge and Specialized Knowledge produces an Educated Person and he or she gets results through the assistance of his or her “Master Mind” group.
Now in this lesson, Master Napoleon teaches us:
• Imagination produces Ideas. They are the beginning of all “fortunes”
• Imagination is “the farm” in which all man’s “seeds” are planted, e.g. plans.
• Imagination makes possible to give form and shape Desires.
• Plans and Desires convey to take Action with Total Imagination.
As well, Master Hill calls attention about the role of IMAGINATION in human being growth. He makes a clear distinction between the two main types of imagination, that is “synthetic imagination” and “creative imagination”.
1. Synthetic Imagination takes place when old concepts, ideas or plans are arranged into new combinations. It is a sort of the manipulation of effects, a re-invention. It works with the material of experience.
2. Creative Imagination is the form of imagination that helps create basic concepts or new ideas. It is causal that creates effects, an invention, an art. It works in direct communication with Infinite Intelligence.
At this point, do we have a real distinction between these two imagination’s functions? To me this distinction is a critical understanding. Imagination, my inferring, is a global, integrated, independent mental function that produces unexpected ideas, that sparks plans and adds value to our Action, as the innate ability and process of inventing or rearranging them.
Throughout our human history, the human being has used the creative imagination to convert Ideas in the starting point of all fortunes and wellness.
The moral and teaching is that We must revive our own imaginative faculty and make alert through use. Please do not damp anybody’s imagination including ours. Never underestimate a person with a Vision.
Think, visualize, fantasize, dream, and create. Creation is identical to a battery. Positive is active-Creative Imagination. Negative is passive-Synthetic Imagination. Connect the two perfectly and you have power. The Power of Knowledge Applied. Be a Linchpin!
“Art requires imagination. It requires Creativity. Creativity requires experience and experience comes from your life. And your life is expressed in your art.”
- Bruce Lee
Thanks MFF’s friends, Masters, Mentors (…) for this incredible mastermind group that helps people own their lives.
Sincerely with love, honesty and gratitude,

David Meyer

Meyer, David USA Boise

Hello!
Imagination! Something that can become neglected in our society that focuses most of our energy on physical reality. The bible says for us to pray for things and believe they already have happened. The bible is the best selling book on the planet and says we can move mountains if we just pray and believe it has already occurred. What type of praying is this? It is using our imagination. It is focusing on a reality we want more than the reality that we currently are living in.
I came up with an idea about a year ago that I wanted to start looking at different quantities of money from $10,000 to $1 million dollars. I had them on my desktop so any time I looked at it I was looking at large sums of money. I did this because I wanted to expand my mind to the possibility of more abundance and prosperity. I wanted to stretch my imagination. I came to the conclusion that as long as I thought of those amounts of money as more than I could ever make then that is what I would continue to experience.
I loved the comment Ken Klemm made recently about the 30 Day Mental Cleanse. He said if you want to truly see the benefits of this powerful group then "be here in a year". His words were powerful because I know that I want to quit. I want to quit doing this because it is hard work and because it is different than just watching television and seeing what other people created with their imagination. So many hours wasted in front of a machine designed to show us the results of Thinking And Growing Rich, but not actually experience it for ourselves. From the actors, to the producers, to the directors, to the people on American Idol and all these shows. They are all using their imagination to create something special in their lives.
We can watch them or we can do the same for ourselves. If we choose to work on building ourselves up then we need to stop watching them and start watching our thoughts and working out our imagination like an Olympic athlete.
We all deserve the very best in life. Let's make sure we are all here in a year to make sure we are committed to ourselves and seeing what we can create in our own lives. So many people don't believe in themselves so they think they are worth $7 an hour or $10 an hour or $12 an hour. I think we are worth more than we could ever even imagine. There is no limit to what we are worth...only the limit we set in our minds. Only the limits we create in order to let others know that we do not believe in ourselves.
Thank you all for sharing your thoughts, ideas, words, inspiration, love, and motivation with each other. I leave this post with a couple of affirmations to help you stretch that imagination and think and dream BIGGER!
I provide value to others worth more than one million dollars.
I have the ability to attract one million dollars.
I am worth a million dollars.
I joyously accept a million dollars into my life.
I rejoice in being a millionaire.
I release all of my past beliefs that have prevented me from becoming a millionaire.
Money is energy in manifest form. I now draw that energy to myself by freely releasing my talents to the world.
I am eternally grateful for the honor of being trusted with a million dollars.
I have the talent and knowledge to create a million dollars.
I make concrete actions toward creating a million dollars.

Chapter 6: Imagination
Napoleon Hill says:
Man can create anything which he can imagine.
The creative imagination functions only when the conscious mind is vibrating
at an exceedingly rapid rate.
Man's only limitation lies in his develoment and use of his imagination.
When I was growing up and in school, not one teacher ever encouraged me
to write. My grades in composition never ever suggested the any talent lying
within me. I don't remember what sparked the desire to write. But whatever
it was, it changed my life forever. I began writing a journal on New Year's Day
1968, when I was 14. Not one of those puny diaries from the store, either.
My journal was a 3-ring binder full of lined paper. It took me two years to fill
it, because for a long time I wrote only a few sentences a day. I was afraid
to reveal my true feelings even in my personal, private journal, because I was
afraid one of my brothers would find it and read it.
I am a writer. 28 binders full of handwritten pages, and untold thousands of
words in Word documents, testify to that fact. So...
Why am I not published?
Why don't I have the imagination to come up with interesting stories?
Why am I not using my writing more in Mentoring For Free?
I'm going to make a confession here. I have NEVER found it easy to write my
mental cleanse lessons. Week after week, I determine to write my lesson on
Thursday or Friday, and week after week I squeak in under the wire on
Monday or Tuesday night. Why? It's not because I don't think about it and
read or listen to the chapter early enough.
The answer to that is the same as the answer to why I am not a published
author today. Whether it's fiction, ebooks, emails, or my mental cleanse
lessons, I don't believe I have the imagination to come up with interesting
stories.
Talk about a pack of lies!!! Long ago I discovered that I can imagine all kinds
of negative scenarios. When my husband or child is late coming home... when
I think I've forgotten to turn the stove off before leaving home... when the
house creaks and groans at night... when my business is not growing the
way I'd like... oh yes, I can think of plenty of negative scenarios. So why not
positive?
The reality is, I have a very vivid imagination, but it's tightly bound and
restricted by my fears and false perceptions. The only time I have allowed
it free reign is to let it feed on the negative programming from the past, to
grow those fears and false perceptions till they're WAY out of proportion.
I have often heard Michael say,
"YOU own your success! It's inside YOU.
It's up to YOU!
But you must stay close to the fire!"
I have no trouble staying close to the fire. I very seldom miss a call, and I
soak it all up like a sponge. It's the first part of it I've had trouble with.
There is a desire in my heart... an idea in my mind. Like Mr. Hill, I may need
to coax it, nurse it, and entice it to remain alive. And as I do that consistently,
my idea will gradually become a giant under its own power, and it will coax,
nurse and drive me!
"Ideas are like that," says Mr. Hill. "First you give life and action and guidance
to ideas, then they take on power of their own and sweep aside all opposition."
I believe that now, and I am taking action on it.
I want to thank you, Michael, for being so insistent that we "stay close to
the fire" and "be here a year from now". I would encourage who is discouraged,
to do exactly that. No matter how slow or ineffective you think you are, stick
close to the fire, because that is the first step to success. Everyone gets
discouraged every now and then. But for goodness sake, say your self talk
so you won't have to stay in that state any longer than necessary!
