SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE, PERSONAL EXPERIENCES OR OBSERVATIONS
The Fourth Step toward Riches
Knowledge is ONLY Potential Power, it becomes power ONLY when, and if, it is organized into definite plans of action and directed to a definite end. While going over this chapter, this time the word “Power” hit me. What kind of Power is really being talked about here. Life changing power, taking an Idea and bringing it to life with Imagination and Specialized Knowledge, with this design, this recipe I could receive riches in great quantities.
It will take Focus and Determination to refuse to compromise with life by being in a rut, wallowing in self-pity and staying in that rut! Staying in a rut of a mediocre life is demeaning and shows lack of self-worth. It becomes a Habit that becomes harder and harder to Kick! Keeping this phrase in mind will give me a hand up out of this rut: “we rise to high positions or remain at the bottom BECAUSE OF CONDITIONS WE CAN CONTROL……IF WE DESIRE TO CONTROL THEM!!!!!!
Blaming others or wallowing in self-pity only hurts ME, it’s like drinking poison and expecting the enemy to die. We are our own worst enemies most of the time! Having a DESIRE to control my reaction to these obstacles, staying positive, being consistent with my self-talk, being around the right people who will aid me (Mastermind) as opposed to giving ear, time or anything else to negative nay sayers.
The way of success is the way of continuous pursuit of knowledge. As network marketers we are encouraged to read good books, that uplift, encourage, inspire and teach us. This is a continuous process, it’s called Growth. Bathing is recommended daily for the same reasons, we have to keep ourselves clean from all the negativity that surrounds us. When I stop learning, growing, improving myself as a person, I literally will die. We have to keep our minds alkalized as opposed to acidic. When the PH levels in the pool get low, bacteria starts to grow. I cannot afford to sit around and do nothing, then expect all my dreams to fall into my lap and come to fruition. It sounds rather dumb that people would really think this way, however there are millions who are living life this way!
Let this chapter make us all aware of the importance of what we are doing and WHY we are doing it! This Mastermind group and forum are great tools in helping me fight this ongoing battle, many have been blest by it. Thank you Michael and Linda and all the great thinkers and doers in this Mastermind group!

The Fourth Step Toward Riches
In this chapter, Napoleon Hill imparts his powerful insight, at great length, the distinction between General Knowledge and Specialized Knowledge, between Formal Education (miscellaneous) and Practical Information (Street Knowledge), and also between Instruction and Education.
In simple words, Knowledge is and has not Power per se. Knowledge applied is Power. This has value when it’s applied toward some worthy end with Burning Desire, Faith. When it is organized, and intelligently directed, through practical PLANS OF ACTION, to the DEFINITE END of accumulation of monetary and total wealth.
My point of view is that,
• General knowledge, the Formal Education (the organized, basic and miscellaneous ones) produces an Instructed man.
• Specialized Knowledge, the Practical Information (Street Knowledge) produces a Skilled man.
• Both Knowledge produces an Educated Man and he gets results through the assistance of his “Master Mind” group. He realizes, achieves, knows, learns, specializes, and applies the real success’s cycle: Necessity + Idea (Desire) + Specialized knowledge (Around any corner, benchmarking) + Imagination (Capability) + Opportunity + Plan + Action = Successful Business. (Upward Spiral Control)
Without doubt, an Educated Man makes possible to arouse in any person an eager want; be a good listener; be a good talker, become really interested in other people; be a Master with a Heart of Service; be a Leader; (…)
At this point, according to Napoleon Hill’s words, I know I will require to specialize my SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE of the service, product, or profession which I intend to offer in return for fortune, based upon my ability to transmute my DESIRE into its monetary wealth equivalent, through the aid of my “Teamwork” group (up and down line.)
My Personal Experiences:
Most of my specialized knowledge was acquired, during my school years, from Parents, Teachers and Friends for watching, observing, talking, street-knowledge via unsophisticated benchmarking, (…) I had the opportunity to grow close to Our Mother Earth’s beauty. My father and I enjoyed to wake up early and watch the sunrise among the mountains meanwhile both of us were ride in bicycle before to open his store. My mother and I delighted to watch the sundown meanwhile she read her dressmaker’s lessons or a book or just listened to music.
During my life I have applied these knowledge and transmitted to my loved ones. I love every aspect related to eco-ethical-aesthetic concerns. Nowadays, already in the Network Marketing Business, for sure, I will follow the same path. I am focused to apply all of these experiences, specifically the management ones, in order to be a Net-worker, doing what I love to do, achieve my financial freedom, living a life with positive simplicity, teaching my experiences, and being a kind of Counselor with with a Heart of Service

mind.
Decide the sort of specialized knowledge you require,
and the purpose you need it for;
find out where you can find what you need to know,
and Use it !
Self discipline, Making decisions, being Prompt, taking Action, Finishing the plan.
The Green machine – Knowledge is The End all in itself.
The Red roadster – you’ll never get anything done with your nose in that book.
The Blue bomb – ok, specifically now, is it fun ?
The Yellow submarine – somebody help me . . .
We each have our own attitude toward specialized knowledge;
we need to know, and we need to know specific things
But
that is only a means to an end.
Use your Imagination !

Specialized Knowledge
This is the chapter that I think I get, before even reading it, because I've been technical since High School, but I've finally figured out what I had wrong.
I've always associated specialized knowledge with that which most of us endeavor to acquire by going to school. We start off learning the basics, then, if we do well, we focus on something that interests us, or that we find fun, and continue with study of it in college. Although this is indeed a path away from general, learn-life-by-living-it knowledge, it is a plan that has been drawn up by others for us to accomplish their objectives. We are being trained to be good followers of someone else's goals and dreams if we simply follow the plan that getting this education is the end, in and of itself, or the job it lands us. We CAN use schools and other training successfully. There are many good examples given in the book in this chapter.
What we're studying this week involves coming to grips with the specialized knowledge needed to accomplish OUR goals and dreams. Some specialized knowledge we can acquire from others, rather than trying to know it all by ourselves. This is a relief to me, because I know, although I'm perfect, just the way I am, I'm better equipped when I am able to collaborate and share my skills with other people. Together everyone achieves more. But, _I_ DO have to have some skills.
I have to focus on the specialized knowledge needed exclusively for my desires. I cannot allow myself to become distracted. Being able to focus is an underlying component _I_ HAVE to deal with. I have to silence my negative thoughts. I have to silence the negative noise in my daily routines. I have to especially avoid those recurring thoughts that suggest things can be compromised or doing it later will be okay. It's NOT.
Self-talk, or auto-suggestion, that we studied last week is the answer for me. This allows me to stay focused on the skills and knowledge I need, while quieting the noise. It reinforces the desires I am accomplishing. It infuses the emotion I need to stay positive and focused. It impresses upon my subconscious mind exactly how important this is to me. I have to repeat this, both mentally as well as out loud, so I HEAR it as well, many, many times a day.
My subconscious mind responds by pushing me into action. Learning how to get leads, customers and prospects is the specialized knowledge I need, in addition to using my subconscious for motivation.
Using our mastermind group I am able to tap into the specialized knowledge of others. I am also able to be tapped, like in a tag-team match, to help and assist others. I've found that the best lessons often come from the specialized knowledge of the apprentice, rather than the mentor. I never stop learning or gaining new insights. I'm still more the apprentice than the mentor, but my self-talk is keeping me strongly growing yet humble.
Specialized knowledge is clearly shown as an important ingredient in the recipe for successfully obtaining the magical incarnation of my desires and growing my understanding of this has empowered me with high vibration energy to continue to take action.
Thank you to everyone on the weekly calls. With your participation I am continuing to climb to ever more lofty heights of understanding and accomplishment in my desires and my ability to reach my hand out to help others do the same.

Chapter 5 Specialized Knowledge
Hill states that general knowledge no matter the quality or quantity as nothing to do with the accumulation of money.
This to me is very true since I have seen firsthand that educated people are usually the poorest set of people.
On the other hand Hill also states that '' Any man is educated when he knows where to go when he needs knowledge and how to organize this information into definite plan of action.'' Smart don't you think ?
As a network marketer its important that we are equip with specialized knowledge. Simply put in the words of a fellow network marketer is the saying"" In order to get more we have to become more ." Become the person that people look up to for valued information. This can be done through hours and hours of perfecting your craft, knowing our product or compensation plan inside out, so that whatever our prospect/ customer ask us we can explain it to them without hesitation .
Mentoring for free system serves as a tremendous place for persons to gain specialize information on a variety of topics wether it be business ,business module, network marketing , life etc.
Choose what you which to do and do it well , allow nothing to deter you .
