I have finally taken action initiating my subconscious from the position of idle to drive and heading for overdrive. I can say that because I was doing what most people do. They react to what goes on around them and hope for the best. They listen to what they were told to listen to and live according to how others say they should.
Do you remember in Sociology 101, the Pavlov experiment that was carried out concerning the dogs and their reaction to the bell? Well if you don’t here is a brief snapshot of the outcome. Each time these dogs were fed, Pavlov would ring the bell, the dogs know it is time to eat, salivate and consume the food. When the dog became accustomed to what is expected of them, the food was removed, the bell remained. When the bell was rung, the dogs showed up salivating expecting to eat, but there was no food. The salivation happened because the bell triggered anticipation of the outcome that was expected (conditional response). This would happen several times until they are retrained not to react to the sound of the bell. What if Pavlov decreased the food to the minimum amount needed to survive and continued the experiment? I believe the dogs would still show up salivating each time to get the scraps of what was offered for their survival. If an alpha dog was in the pack it would of course take from the others to ensure its survival.
Our social structure and education system is setup on the same principle as the experiment performed by Pavlov and his dogs. The education system teaches workers what is needed in their society to ensure its survival of the overall social structure. The workers are taught the skills the society is in need of for at that period of time, and they are taught what to think and where to go. When they reach their destination, they are shown what to do. Some will do that task for the rest of their lives. Did I mention our society tells the workers how long they should live, how much time they should spend with their family and friends, who should be their friends, what to wear what to eat and where to go? It is all laid out, so order can be maintained, whose order, have you ever thought of that?
If you are reading this and it causes you to ponder, you are an alpha dog. Not like the dogs described earlier in this lesson, but one who choose to place them self in a position of leadership, breaking free from the pack of nomads, thinking for themselves, is learning how to think, not what to think. You protect and help the weak, never taking from them what they need to survive. You gravitate and attract the ones who realize there is more to life than what they are thought, even if they don’t know how to obtain it without causing harm to others because it goes against their consciences. The subconscious is the master and the conscience is the slave. The master tells the slave what to do and the slave does it. The master knows what the slave is going to do before the slave, because the master is the one that controls the slave. If the slave is aware of the abilities of the master, they can influence the master to get all there need met. The mater will even bring the energy of the universe into action to aide the slave so the slave can live the way they desire, go where they wants, do what they wants whenever they wants, There is a catch. The slave must continuously tell the master what their needs are. When the slave knows what they want and is focused enough to go after it, the master will direct the universe to assist the slave in every way. Telling the master what they needs is a repetitive process that is deeply felt, called autosuggestion. It is the main tool the slave utilizes to communicate with the master the sense of their needs. It must be heartfelt, bring joy and a smile to their heart each time they delivers it to the master. It must be done continuously; he will expect it and gladly receive it. Although you will never be the master, they will never be in wants, all their needs will be met, and the universe will be there to serve you.
God creates the universe to interact with us; we must be focus on our goals, give back, and share with others. My friends, the universe await us. WE are a slave no more but a partner with the master.

Chapter 4
Auto-Suggestion
The more I read Think and Grow Rich the more I learn. It is suggested in this book we read it at least three times to get all the information needed.
Thanks to Michael and Linda putting together this Mental Cleanse for us to come and learn HOW to Think and Grow Rich, I have discovered there are
times I personally have had to go through a single chapter more than once in order to get the point it is trying to make.
Take this chapter on Auto-Suggestion as an example:
I first had to say a self-talk hundreds of times a day in order to be able to look at myself in the mirror. One day I walked past the mirror and instead
of looking away, I was able to look in the mirror and smile. What an awesome day that was!!
Then I had to change my self-talk, which I said hundreds of times a day, to I deserve to be a better person. One day I knew in my heart I deserve to
be the person I wanted to be. My confidence level went sky high.
At this point I knew I could help anyone else who was struggling with this and I could not wait to pay it forward. I started the Pro System at this point.
I at this point was able to change my self-talk with every little baby step I took. I was in a comfort zone with the confidence I CAN DO THIS.
With Auto Suggestion I am able to overcome something every time I feel the tightness in my chest when a change does occur.
After 7 or more times through this book I have now learned, what I am suppose to learn, the second time around.
I hear Michael say all the time that people go through this Mental Cleanse and then they are able to continue on with life. knowing its value,
they are able to recognize when the people they are helping need the Mental Cleanse and guide them here.
I recently hit a level of success which forces me to be a stronger person within myself, to be able to be the best leader I can be. I started to
question myself. By questioning myself I let it knock me down. I had the choice to quit. But because I stay close (sometime even in) the fire
and I do not miss a call, I heard Michael say on Monday’s call “We were not born to Win. We were not born to Lose. We were born to Choose.
This reminded me that thanks to the Mental Cleanse, we have a loving and caring Mastermind Team who is here to help us overcome our obstacles
instead of using them as a road block. I remembered I had a choice and I did not have to suffer in silence. I contacted a friend for help.
Because I have heard so many stories about people finding success and then self sabotage it, and losing it. I personally want to continue using
the Mental Cleanse because it is helping me grow everyday. I AM growing everyday, and as I grow, I get a new meaning from each chapter, which
is the meaning I need at the time of my growth.
Thanks to the Mental Cleanse, The Mastermind Team and each chapter within it, I will be able to grow with each step of my success and be able to
reach the top with confidence.
I have had the honor of feeling the love Michael and Linda give to believe in us until we believe in ourselves. This belief is not a one time belief.
They believe in us through each step we take. Michael and Linda have been able to share the wealth of this love with many of us, so we can pay
it forward as well. I thank you so much for this.
Much Love and Appreciation

CHAPTER 4 - Autosuggestion
A week ago on the Monday Leadership call, Michael said:
"You were not born to win.
You were not born to lose.
You were born to CHOOSE."
For a good many years, I didn't think I had much choice in life. Things
happened to me.
My father died when I was seven, and we never got to build that home
out in the country.
My stepfather, was an alcoholic and he was the town garbage man. I wore
hand-me-down clothing that didn't fit, from relatives or friends or even other
people's trash that my stepdad brought home from his rounds. Kids called me
names and made fun of me.
BUT I learned early on that I really didn't care what kids said about my
stepdad. He was an honest man, and a hard worker. And he brought home
the coolest stuff! Toys, dented cans of food, and even boxes of books. We
kids looked forward to when he got home, to see what he had brought us
this time. When he brought home books, I thought I was the luckiest girl in
town!!
As a young teen, I blamed my stepfather for all of our financial problems.
He was generous to a fault, but most of that generosity stopped at the
hotel, where he would go every day after work. On Fridays, he would buy
round after round of drinks for his buddies, and my mom would have to go
in and salvage what was left of it, to buy groceries and pay the rent.
BUT when I was 16, I asked God to give me a love for my stepfather as if
he were my own father... and He answered that prayer. I chose not to
blame him any more, and make the best of the situation I was in.
I can think of a number of other key choices I made as a teenager and
young woman, which were completely outside of what anyone else in my
family had ever done.
I chose to attend church, where I found a great group of friends and adult
mentors who all helped me keep out of trouble throughout my teen years.
I chose to marry a young man who shared my love for the Lord, and who
did not drink or smoke. A man who was like-minded in all the ways that were
important to me.
I chose to travel 2500 miles and attend Prairie Bible Institute, where I spent
three of the best and happiest years of my life. After grad, I was on staff
for almost a year, and then married my classmate, Ian.
And yet, underlying all of this has lingered a deep-seated feeling that life
is something that happens to me, and I am its unwilling victim. Sure, I make
the best of what happens, but it's just that... *making the best of what
happens to me* while feeling sorry myself... rather than looking for something
better.
Life happens... but that's not what it's all about. Our son James died in the
prime of his young manhood, two years ago last December. It was a
staggering loss, not only for Ian and me, but for our six living children. We
miss him keenly even now. But we aren't just drifting along aimlessly, longing
for the past and wishing James would walk through the front door. No! We've
moved on just as we would have, if he were still in our midst.
So many times I catch myself thinking in the wrong way, and I know that's
the old negative self talk, which is the default if I'm not on guard. No matter
where I am in life, or what my circumstances are, I always have a choice.
~ Give in to the default negative, and be a victim. Or...
~ Choose my positive self talk and look for a better way.
I love Janet Stokes' last sentence in her lesson plan this week:
"It is not how quick you are to develop that will bring success
but how determined you are to never give up."
I am determined never to give up, no matter what else is going on in my life.
And I am so thankful that regardless of how inconsistent my actions appear
to be, and no matter how poor my results, Michael never gives up on me.
