Think & Grow Rich
Chapter13. The Brain (Review)
THE BROADCASTING AND RECEIVING STATION FOR THOUGHT
THE TWELFTH STEP TOWARD RICHES
Think of what Hill says as the Brain being a sending
and receiving station for us and the thoughts of others. Hill
suggests that the frequency of vibration of thought received
by the brain can be likened to that of radio waves coming into
a radio and being converted to a frequency of vibration to
which human ears can receive.
Hill goes on to say, the “Creative Imagination” is the
RECEIVING SET of the brain (see imagination, Ch 6).
The mind is stepped up in its ABILITY to send and receive
thought through positive or negative emotions. It is our
thoughts at a high rate of vibration caused by emotion that
is carried from one brain to another (see the lists of
emotions in Ch 12).
The subconscious mind is the SENDING STATION of the
brain. Thought is received by the creative imagination
good or bad and is processed and sent by the
subconscious mind to the conscious mind where we
physically implement the content of the positive or
negative thought to either help or hinder us.
Hill says consider now, “voluntary” AUTOSUGGESTION
where we broadcast from our conscious mind by
repetition of thought and emotion to our receiving set
“Creative Imagination”, which over time with practice
will be transferred form our subconscious back to our
conscious mind where we will manifest our desire into
a physical reality. By the way involuntary
autosuggestion will have results as well, so be
cautious of what you think. Be awake to negative
self-talk.
The forces we are talking about here are intangibles.
Hill says, “Sometimes men speak lightly of the
intangibles— the things which they cannot perceive
through any of their FIVE SENSES, and when we
hear them, it should remind us that all of us are
controlled by forces which are unseen and intangible.”
Gravity for example which suspends the earth in the
heavens and keeps man from falling off, the force
that cause the tides etc…all intangible. Hill goes on
to describe more of the “INTANGIBLE” forces of
nature that men have yet to truly understand. Hill,
“Nor is this by any means the end of man’s ignorance in
connection with things unseen and intangible. Last, but
not least, man, with all of his boasted culture and
education, understands little or nothing of the intangible
force (the greatest of all the intangibles) of thought.”
Throughout this book we are dealing with the intangible
forces of thought…Desire, Faith, Autosuggestion,
Imagination, Planning, Decision, Persistence, Master Mind,
Sex Transmutation Subconscious Mind, Brain, Sixth Sense
and Fear, trying to understand best we can and harness
the energy of thought to aid us in…
THE FIVE LAWS OF STRATOSPHERIC SUCCESS
From: “The Go-Giver” by Bob Burg & John David Mann
THE LAW OF VALUE
Your true worth is determined by how much more you
give in value than you take in payment.
THE LAW OF COMPENSATION
Your income is determined by how many people you
serve and how well you serve them.
THE LAW OF INFLUENCE
Your influence is determined by how abundantly you
place other people’s interests first.
THE LAW OF AUTHENTICITY
The most valuable gift you have to offer is yourself.
THE LAW OF RECEPTIVITY
The key to effective giving is to stay open to receiving.
