Chapter 1-Thoughts Are Things
Thoughts are negative or positive. The negative thoughts you have are the ones that drag you down the hole because you believe it. The positive thoughts lifts you up. Because you be leave it. What you think is what you get. That's why Self talk is so important to say hundreds of time a day to stay positive. And believe it. Be Determend to say your Self talk hundreds of times a day. Talk to God or what ever you believe in to help you. Ask and you receive. I'm still in work in progress in gettin over 50 times a day building on 100 times a day , 200, 300., 400, till I get there I will never quite. I will get there! I believe in my self. Determination.
I asked God in my self talk now to help me to treat others the way I want to be treated.I do lots of little self talks now. I find time every minute of the day now to say them. I'm not making excuses now not to do the self talks .And being around positive people I'm Positive too.

Our thoughts are made up of many experiences. These experiences start from when we are first born.
Some people suggest that it begins even earlier than that.
Unfortunately many of our early experiences can be negative. Why?
Because people have been programmed by people who are negative.
This means that the subconscious mind feeds on and stores
all of that negative programming that has been passed down from generation to generation.
Of course it is not always negative.
Some people are lucky enough to be touched by an amazing positive individual or individuals.
If this is the case then their whole outlook on life will be positive
and they will achieve incredible things throughout their lives.
I see the whole mastermind group as an amazing group of positive individuals
who are spreading the message of positivity throughout the world.
In doing so we are removing the negativity within our own lives and those we interact with.
This is great when we are plugged into the calls and feel the energy permeating throughout the air waves right into our minds.
When we are not on the calls however. Life has a way of bringing us back to earth.
Once again the negativity is absorbed into our minds like osmosis.
So how do we stop it from impacting on the way we think?
It is of course autosuggestion and self talk.
When you say a positive self talk many times each day with power and passion
you remove the possibility of negativity entering your head space.
This of course takes work as we have all found out.
Are we strong enough and determined enough o persist with saying it consistently with the power and passion required?
If we are then our whole vibrational level is set up to attract positive things into our lives. Negativity cannot penetrate the force field that has been set up.
The problem lies in our ability to continually recite our positive self talk every day.
I have personally found that it's not always possible to keep up the reciting of a self talk 300 to 400 times each day.
I am wondering if there is a way to help people say their self talk consistently.
One thing that has helped me enormously to remain in a state of positivity
is to adopt an attitude of gratitude.
When I consciously think about and write down five things I am grateful for everyday I feel more positive.
It also helps to flush out negative thoughts.
My autosuggestion is tuned into the positive channel.
I am no longer focused on the negativity around me.
I am instead looking for positive things to add to my list.
This process requires me to think of five new things a each day that I can be grateful for.
So my mind is continually looking for things to add to my list.
This is where the magic lies.
It helps me to look for positive things in my life and generate positive emotions.
This process accompanied with my self talk
and the benefit of belonging to such a positive mastermind group like the 30 day mental cleanse
is a formula for exterminating negativity from my life.
I would be very glad for any other suggestions on how to flush out negative thoughts.

Thoughts are Things
Every time I read this chapter, it seems I understand more and more.
Thinking back to a month ago, I was thinking about how badly I wanted to get to my company's event.
I kept thinking the good positive thoughts and saw myself at this event.
Well thanks to a kind hearted lady, Agnes Tally, I was at this event.
I also seem to always relate it to what the bible says:
In the beginning was the word (this is a thought)...and the word became flesh (this manifestation became real).
God or whatever your understanding of God may be tells us that thoughts are things.
Now I know there is more to this meaning but just the word alone started as a thought and became real.
Wow, I think about this idea and can't help that the message behind this is for all of us to realize that "thoughts are things" and we create our lives by the way think and see our world.
Choices we make everyday affect our realites. Choosing our thoughts carefully is wisdom.
So what we think about on a daily basis is more important than we realize because it is about our lives and the meaning that we give to our realities that count and how our lives produce meaning to our realities.
We become centered, balanced and with direction follwing the path that leads to goodness and love.
What meaning do we give to our lives?
What meaning do we give to our realities?
What new, better, grander thoughts can we think about to give special meaning to our lives today?
Giving special meaning to our lives with good thoughts means we have the power to create the life we want to create.
Taking God's wisdom in planning our lives, living the action and treasuring our thoughts and these become who we are. It's the gift of freedom but we must guard our thoughts.
If we don't guard and own our thoughts, being responsible with them, someone else will create them for us and steal our dreams.
Honestly, I believe this is the first time in my life that I have taken my thoughts and guared them. I never realized how precious my thoughts and dreams were in the past and that they should be guarded so I could create my life.
It's like waking up and seeing the universe for the first time!
I'm so grateful for learning this wisdom.

If what Napoleon Hill is saying is the truth, then it is also true that every adult among us, No Exceptions, is 100% responsible for what is showing up in our lives. We are literally, not kind of or sort of, we are Literally creating our lives with what we think about most often and most intensely. It does not matter if what we focus on is negative or positive, "good or evil", "in alignment or out of alignment". No matter what, We Get what We Intensely Dwell On 100% of the time.
What I used to dwell on almost all day, every day, where intense thoughts like, "How am I going to stop being so damned negative! How am I gonna stop acting like such a jerk to my wife! How and I ever going to get out of debt! Oh crap, it's raining! That damned dog! Those damned kids!" and on and on and on. I'm sure your thoughts where not so different than mine. This is quite simply a case of dwelling on what we don't want. We have all been quite painfully aware of what we don't want, and in order to get what we do want in life and in business, we MUST CHANGE OUR SELF-TALK!
If you want to own your life, you MUST CHANGE what you Dwell On most of the time. Chapter 1
Thoughts are Things
Sitting here by the river drinking a cup of coffee I was bringing to my mind the many thoughts, dreams and desires I have seen, tried or accomplished. I guess I have had many, some I am proud of and some I haven’t been so proud.
Growing up listening to older people talk about their life their dreams and their accomplishments. Going to movies where the hero always wins. Playing cops and robbers where the cops always wins. Our minds are always focused that we can never loose, we always end up winners and end up happy.
That was dreamland and when I grew up and faced the real world I was always faced with failure after failure. I was always the bad guy. Why? Listening to older people, going to movies, playing cops and robbers, the end was always happiness never about what really happened in the end or what you really had to do.
You dream of going to war fighting for your freedom you know like in the movies you win and come home a hero. Boy was I shocked the things I had to do see and watch. The times I piqued my guts out the times I cried myself to sleep the times I wanted to say “the end” and just go home a hero. Then I learned I had to grow up be hard shelled my thoughts turned into a hero fighting for happiness and love. When I thought it was over I would take another step forward I couldn’t give up. I took my knock downs learned to crawl and pick myself up. I learned to wipe my tears away and keep on fighting and wipe the smile off my face. I would win I would never quit or give up.
After I came home all the thoughts about the good guy always wining and riding off happy and a winner was just a dream. I found out I worked hard when I tried to accomplish my dreams and goals and I was always short of my goals and I would quit. I never reached the top I was always a little short of reaching my goal. I still was not going to give up. I have now learned some of the greatest failed and failed but reached their goal after 10, 20 or 30m years. I know now failure is just a stopping point to regain my breath and correct the failure and move forward I’ve only been trying for 7 years so I guess I am doing pretty good with all my MFF team and mentors picking me up and shoving me forward. I’ll never give up and I am sure I will hit a few more stumbling blocks and my MFF team and Shelly and Michael and Lindy will pick me up and push me forward.
Wow what a wonderful life I am having and wonderful and beautiful friends I have in MFF. Thanks guys I’m not finished yet
I have just started.
