Simple Solution: Include an elliptical trainer and stationary bike in your cardio routine.
No Pain, No Gain. Here's the big problem with this one: People will push twice as hard and go far beyond their limits if they think their workout isn't paying off. A sharp, tingling pain is a red flag and probably a sign you should consult a physician.
Simple Solution: Avoid torn ligaments by lightening your load and adding more repetitions. The "high rep, low weight" formula is ideal for toning muscle.
Work the Same Muscles Every Day to Build Strength. Ever hear of overtraining? Well, that's what's likely to happen with this scenario. When you overtrain, you put your body at risk of injury and rob your muscles of much-needed rest between workouts.
Simple Solution: Stagger and alternate your workouts so your body has adequate downtime between training routines. If you're weight training, avoid doing the same exercises day after day, week after week. Mix it up, and give your muscles a jolt.
