In life there is one thing a successful person needs to be able to and that is being willing to learn. When you close your mind to learning those new things and start saying I know it all you become unteachable and start declining in life. Some people need to be literally down and out before they become teachable. Others never are, some people are so teachable that it’s not funny. It’s strange yet I have learned so many things about myself and my life, I have become the teachable one. The one who is willing to learn the new ways and methods, despite the fact that I have lived around others who remain unteachable such is life.
Anyway for me I know now why I have failed in the past and see it again and again, some people set themselves up for failure others do not. In the past when I have gone downhill I have been in the lions den or associating with the wrong people for too long. These days I just switch off or do not fully listen to them. Other days I do, right now it’s about being supportive to those who mean a lot to you and not listening to the bad stuff not taking that on board. Sure there are those people who literally need your support and are going through some of the roughest times like myself, we talk about it and move on, trying to find the positive inside that negative.
Some people need to learn that others love them, they have lost all faith and all love within themselves. Others need to learn other things, everyone has their own learning curve in life. The biggest mistake that people can make is saying I know everything as then those people become unteachable. Are you teachable?
