is Your desire strong enough?

Would it be ok if I shared my lesson on Chapter 2 from Think and Grow Rich for this week’s Think and Grow Rich Lessons with You. A program that has helped thousands to change their lives and to become the person that they were intended to be. It has helped myself to become a better husband, father and friend.

Is their desire strong enough to achieve that goal or dream, are they willing to give it all up to achieve that goal or dream burning all their bridges that and going this is what I am going to do with my life and it make no difference what anyone else has to say about that.

6571060-young-man-kissing-his-wife-sitting-on-bed-at-homeDuring high school, any form of power tools that used during woodworking class scared me, that needed to be overcome to be able to complete the woodworking project that was working on.

For many years a goal/desire has been to build that model train layout, this would require the use of tools to complete the layout and has meant learning that the tools are safe when used right. It’s been learning to overcome that fear that has been needed to even get started building that layout. Yes, a soldering iron may hurt when You touch it or You can lose a finger through a saw when You get too close. When You learn to control the tool properly it works well.

joyful-lifeWe need to do the same with our business, learning to use the tools we have properly and using the right skills, it’s the same with overcoming any fear for any desire we may have that we may go out there looking for a better life, however, do we truly desire it. Are we willing to give everything up including our pension or government benefits to be that which we have wanted all our lives?

claudia-beauty-colorfull-beautiful-photography-sayings-quote-friends-quotes-inspirational-tags-greacful-art-words_large_jpg_w=499&h=331The question needs to ask myself is, am I prepared to give up the government support to be that stay at home dad earning an income from home. Am I happy to walk away from the pension and even working part time knowing that I would have that freedom to be able to spend time with the family, travel with the family, living the life of my dreams? The answer is Yes, the question You need to ask Yourself is are You prepared to give it all up just to achieve Your goal or dream?

P.S. Right now the goal of being a stay at home dad has its own deadline of 17 Aug 17 and I am going to achieve that goal. I am refusing to give up and will make that happen, my own kids are relying on someone to be able to raise them rather than allowing them to grow up in full time care. Its time to get that achieved, I am just curious what is Your own goal or its deadline for achievement.
